Hardware Permaban

Yes, cause we all know that Sony is going to notice this thread. XD No, really you should not pay attention to trolls. He can't get banned unless he trolling players online. He can't get his PSN account banned for trolling Dust 514 thread, he can get banned in-game but not his PSN.

I am posting this thread because if we all submit a ticket he can be hardwarw banned for spam since he is using a psn account

I can take 10 screenshots and attach them all to my ticket. Honeatly, the ban isn't my choice, it would be up to psn, which ban they use. Check out the user agreement, spamming with your psn ID is grounds for banning

Creating a new account will require 10 minutes of playing Dust before posting on the forums. And with a hardware ban that should do him in.

Off topic, but Severance, why haven't you re-applied to Hellstorm? All in PoTD are going back.

You have to break Sony's ToS to get a hardware ban and its very highly unlikely they'll do that over something as small as forum spam that isnt even related to the PS3.

I dont know all of CCPs methods of "banning" people on the forums, I just hope theres more than a simple account ban.

Alright everyone. I highly recommend following Xender's advice and flag every spam post this guy is making. Just make sure it's Mobias Wyvern and not Mobius Wyvern that you are flagging. Remember, he's impersonating.

It's not the fact that he is saying something bad about Dust that warrants a ban. It's the fact that he is purposefully spamming the forums with content that should be posted in the Locker Room. On top of that, he is posting this spam in threads that are unrelated to the content he is posting about. And finally, he is willfully continuing his spam even after being temporarily banned from the forums. And he's impersonating a fellow player.

You can ban his forum account but not his PSN. You can try hit but it is most likely not going to work. The only thing everyone can do is to ignore him and the mods to ban/edit his post. It is not he is forcing everyone on the forums to go to PS2. He is like a child that wants attention, he will keep on doing what he does if anyone feeds him. Ignoring him is what everyone else should be doing and not try to become the white knight.

Here is the thing. Trolls have adapted to getting use to being ignored. So what do?

There isn't much that you can do, sure send in a ticket but it is not likely to get his hardware ban because he is trolling people on the forums.

Why ban him? He has legit reasons to be pissed at the game. He is expressing his opinion in a exaggerated matter, but it's his opinion nevertheless and it's true for most of us here. Either way there's no way to ban him since he just makes a new account after every forum ban. I personally don't mind his spam, I laugh everytime he does it. He is saying that the game needs to get good and he's right.

Seriously he is using a script, I see old posts from months ago suddenly go to the front page, and new posts are put to the back.

It is not the same name, so there is nothing that can be done about that.

what needs to be done is IP ban him from the forums, I don't care about spam but seeing it in every post is just ******* annoying.

True. Just make it a huge hassle for a no lifer like him, and nothing to anyone who just plays the game.

Make this PS2 lover play dust for an averahe of about 10 hours to be able to post. sound sliek a fair trade.

If he can't find a life or jus tbe happy playing PS2 on a lonely server, then make it 24 hours of game time.

Anyone who plays the game won't care. The caveat is proving them the ability to search and view here with alink that provides concise and clear info on every event, their status, as well as a link to a comprehensive game manual replete with screen shots, video, and bullet pointed text backed up by complete stats. hell, inculde a fitting tool, and test range they can access as well with tutorials.

Maybe it's just me, but it is usually awesome to let a spammer elevate you to greatness leaving them behind in their little low intellect cess pool. they'll never escape and never catch up. and have to move on to the next low hanging fruit.

By doing that he is saying:

-this game has done much more things than Dust in same time frame

-the game will be released at PS4 launch while we don't have any confirmation that Dust even will

-his feedback was not heard

-he hates that the game takes so much time to get things done

-he is reminding us that the game will have a strong competitor

-better aircraft and vehicle combat than Dust

-better aiming than Dust

-it is worthy of the acronym "MMO"

-PS4, anything that's not in this system will fail

-etc, etc, etc

So many things he says by just spamming.
