This needs to addressed. If I see you plant a remote explosive and I kill you the device should be inert, but this is not the case. For some reason even after you have died you can still trigger it. This is BS, you lose the equipment your using when you die, so the detonator should not work. Is this a bug or just another glitch in the twilight zone we call DUST. |

It's not a bug nor a glitch.
Designed that way and it works. Check for RE's. Just look down before you hack objectives.

Not crying, just getting answers to this one question. I learn from my mistakes and gather intell to get better. Also if this is the case then this will help me in the future in doing the same to others. |

I do this often ,frequently really, it's a bit cheap yeah but with the remote explosives splash radius being (a lot) smaller I'm kinda milking all the fun I can out of using them so I'm not feeling getting proto was a waste hopefully that gets fixed along with the splash radius |

Well after you go down you technically aren't dead. You're still in the process of bleeding out. After I get blown up I can't detonate because I actually dead, after someone shoots me and I just go down and a logi can still revive me I'm not really dead yet. So this is actually fine. |

If you got killed by this its your own fault for standing in the same spot for 10+ seconds. |

this isn't 1850 with a plunger connected to a wire that leads to the dynamite. The explosive detonates when it receives the correct signal. On an electronic battlefield (ie today), there is no reason that the device becomes inoperable because one of the people that could possible send that signal dies. In DUST, where you literally come back to life as the same person with the EXACT SAME EQUIPMENT there is no reason to think your "new" detonator would not work.
Also, uplinks and hives don't disappear when you die, so why should RE's.
ANd this is coming from a guy that gets killed by RE's while hacking and by the damn RE underneath Uplink trick alll the goddamn time. |

Lol, somebody is always standing over the hive/uplink when it gets shot. Those little unexpected +50's always put a smile on my face...because it's nigh impossible to land one perfectly on target AND have it not disappear on you. |

Throw down an uplink behind a wall or around a corner, put an RE on the other side. When a player goes to destroy the uplink trigger the RE, rinse and repeat. Do it with a logi suit and you can restock your REs with nanohives. |

I am a Gallente Logi :), I use REs to slightly compensate for my missing side arm. |
