I've been busy reestablishing contacts in Fittakan constellation of Molden Heath since most of the fighting between EON and Cronos has died down. After a short holiday from following the daily comings and goings I was surprised to find that the support for the neutral zone on Oddelulf III has actually increased.
When Gunner and Mavado first initiated talks during the height of the Fittakan conflict I was supportive but skeptical of it's success. It has been made obvious to me now that this neutral zone dubbed "Planet Fight Club" has become more than an idea. With the support of all of the regional clone soldier superpowers in Molden Heath it seems now is the time to make the next push to make it a reality.
The Empires still view us with skepticism and even the Capsuleers question our very existence. We may be stamping out the criminal elements as was requested by our contracts with the Minmatar Republic, but the settling stagnation is weakening our resolve. The limited engagements than can be provided in the neutral zone will be beneficial to all. I will be pursuing negotiations with the remaining land holders to see if the transition process can be accelerated.

Thanks in large part to the larger alliances in Fittakan agreeing to move forward, 23 different corporations have been settled on Oddelulf III. The last neutral zone district ownership should be finalized soon. |

Spero Escrow Services with the help of Nyain San settled the last district in the neutral zone a little over 24 hours ago. I'm receiving reports of successful limited engagements across several of the districts.
I'm hopeful that the treaty regarding the planet will hold for some time, but there is never a surefire way to predict these things. |

It has come to my attention that a single corp is trying to break the Neutral Zone treaty. I hope these are just rumors but the evidence and public statements seem to be to the contrary. No single corp has the right to change the rules of "Fight Club" and changes must be done in council with ALL the current occupants.
I knew the Neutral Zone would always be tenuous at best, but I would have hoped that it would last much longer. |

after a month of anarchy and inactivity on this precious piece of space, and after inquiring throughout Molden Heath as to who was 'in charge' of ensuring Oddeluf was working 'as intended' no response from higher ups across the board was achieved.
At this point, I initiated a discussion in regards to the proper use of this 'neutral' zone. after week of discussion amongst both landholders and outsiders, the above ruleset was put in place to allow for some order in this system.
Now rules are set in place, and those lands that are inactive are changing hands to groups that will use the planet for its intended purpose... fighting, not farming
The topic is linked above and wheels are already in motion to make this land even more active.
Previously there were roughly 8 of the 24 districts being used as intended, attacking/defending having fights with other members of the community of Oddeluf.
Things are changing for the better, and many inactive 'fight club' corps are voluntarily opening their land for others to get such fights.

I just hope that Teamplayers refrains from trying to glean a profit from enforcing the rules. New corps should be settled into the districts at minimum to no cost especially when no ISK was paid to the original district holder and 45 million to over 65 million ISK will be gained from a clone sell off during the transfer.
I see no point in burdening a corporation trying to gain their footing or a corporation trying establish a healthy training ground with a 150 million ISK entry fee just for the pleasure of occupying the district. Let new land holders pay their clone pack fee and use the unspent fund to enter into training battles immediately. |

Every situation is different. Some are simply given lands if the lands were donated while others are compensated for giving up their lands. It all depends on the wishes of the current owners. I have no need to turn a 'profit' on this endeavor. Im just trying to make the entire planet to 'work as intended' and remove the farmers in favor of corps actively seeking pc matches.

we have placed molon labe and now pradox one, as both have not only shown interest but proven they have the numbers to sustain activity.
There are others on the list but frankly im concerned about placing them due to lack of activity in their other pc matches.
Please have rust415 get in contact as from what I've seen they would be a suitable crew for this (as well as support from the likes of ahrendee and others) |
