Why? Why does leveling these two skills to 5 cost almost the same amount of sp to get a full lvl 5 proto racial suite?
Does anyone know? I mean seriously I can't think of why ccp would do that..... |

The vehicle ones don't do the same thing, anymore. Well, I forget whether the CPU one changed, but the vehicle PG skill now just unlocks PG upgrade modules, and makes them use slightly less CPU for. Trust me, don't envy this. |

i said that the minute uprising hit. As new players will really be kinda screwed, as even if get their proto suits, weapon, hp, damage mods; it wont matter b/c they will also be short PG & CPU . It went from a combined 620k since replication to a ~3.1M combined skill now. |

I don't think this can serve any purpose other than to screw over new players.
I'd much rather see it become a x3, with another x2 to unlock their respective modules. |

If you make it something that requires little skill points to invest into than you might as well just scrap it and give everyone the extra CPU/PG. You CAN make good fits without these skills, but you can make better ones with them. I don't understand why people complain about this being a high skill cost when it is one of the most valuable skill bonuses. It's worth the cost IMO. |

We aren't asking for a 1x skill that you can max in one week.
We are asking for a 3x skill, that would be much more fair to new players while still keeping it a fair amount away.
Also, if using your logic then half the skills in the game have no right to exist and should be unlocked right away. |

Just because its good/useful doesn't mean it should take lots of skill points. Having it require so many SP discourages new players from investing in core skills that could be applicable to many suits. Furthermore, its one thing to have a SP-sink function as a gate for unlocking items/modules, but these two skills don't unlock anything. I get the feeling this encourages people to spec into expensive stuff first and core stuff later.
These skills are rank one each in Eve (means about a quarter of a million SP to get each one to lvl 5), and they've always been on my short list of skills noobs need to get to lvl 5 ASAP. |

It's a skill that applies to any dropsuit you wear with great effect. It's worth the SP investment, that's all I'm saying. |

It's pretty much a requirement to have it.
Almost all suits are CPU/PG tight even with those skills maxed, without those it's impossible to get anything decent. |

Ye but we dont get engineering 5% per level
You can have it at 2x multi if you want you just have to give up CPU 5% per level so you can barely fit anything on your suit, deal? |
