1) Missile turrets need 6.5m splash 2) Mass drivers need Chromosome level splash 3) Flayocks are fine, honestly, but the other explosives weapons need to be brought up to that same level, rather than nerf some people's fav sidearm.
Basically, missile turrets should be the absolute kings of explosive weapons in every situation, followed by mass drivers, followed by flayocks, and this is because of the price of each. It's kind of the opposite right now. Does anyone want to explain how a small pistol round even comes close to the missile in a large turret in terms of damage or splash? |

that would be awesome. Perhaps making them much more versatile, with a 75dmg spread over 10m variant, and a 500dmg spread over 1m variant, then having a middle ground one, and so forth. |

As far as missiles go I think it would be cool as follows
Normal -2.5s volly interval medium direct dammage medium splash dammage 5.5m radius
Fragmented- 2.5 second volly interval low direct dammage high splash dammage 8m splash radius
Accelerated 2.5 second volly interval high direct dammage low splash dammage 4m blast radius
Cycled 1.7 second volly interval 3/4 dammage of normal missile 3/4 splash dammage of nirmal with a 5 m blast radius
Havent included numbers but you get the drift. Thoughts. ? |

I just made a thread on Explosion Mechanics
If such changes are implemented, then every explosive weapon would need to be looked at, because now rather than having a splash damage value, splash damage power would be based on how powerful the direct damage is and how far the blast spreads. |
