You know what's fun letting a sniper hit you then just standing there and shooting in the air because you now that it can't kill you. I run caldari Assault Ck.O and its really fun squaring off against a standard heavy and just shooting him letting him hit me then seeing him fall. 738 total hp is fun to run around with and give people false hopes. Using proto gear is great ( besides the price ) So my question is if you have proto gear how much do you love or hate it, and if you don't have proto what do you do when you see proto gear. ( I understand that proto gear is not unstoppable any player with average weapons and suits can kill one. Also i don't usually run proto gear in pub matches if you die twice you usually don't get money.) |

When I see shiny proto suits, I don my BPO logi suit with remote explosives and kinetic catalyser, run up to them and suicide RE. I can easily waste 20+ of these fittings (the only cost is advanced and standard REs, really, since the rest is all BPO) on a single proto enemy and still come out better off.
It is a lot of fun to see a stupid pubstomper (especially cadari protos with their ridiculous shield amounts) fly through the air from my REs. |

If I notice there are too many enemy protobears, I use my militia scout and run around the fringes of the map and hack the outer points.
If I fight them I bring flux grenades.

My proto suit only has like 400HP :( Maybe a little less, maybe my modules just suck. I can't use anything over basic. I think I have 1 shield recharger, 2 shield regeneraters, 2 armor plates, and 1 armor repairer. |

I really need to try out suiciding by grenade right next to a proto-pubstomper.
It seems enjoyable, and fitting, as no matter what I do, I'll die should I face one. Might as well deprive them of the satisfaction of killing me. And who knows, perhaps I'll get the satisfaction of their +50. |

Not aimed specifically at you. It is just so much fun to take out expensive overtanked fits with barely any ISK spent :P Heavies are probably the easiest. I've run up to proto heavy with boundless HMG and been turned into mincemeat by it only to send him flying with my dying breath. That is the thing I love the most about REs - they literally send ragdolls flying. |

thats funny. I find proto to be a major waste of skill points and isk unless your good with it. I run advanced assault caldari and i get top spot on the killboard very often. You dont need proto to be good and u dont have to buy just the suit. You have to buy the shield extenders, rechargers,etc.. Ending up with a total cost of around 80k isk. But hey if you wanna run stuff that costs that much i could always destroy you with an orbital right? Or i could run you over with a murder taxi, both work just as good :). But ye good luck to all you noobs thinking proto is the **** and going out and be like " im gonna get proto and ****". You and all the other noobs out their dont realize you could easily be raped by a pack of noobs running militia ****. So think before you spec into proto stuff. Using milita or basic can be just as good. A little tip: All you noobs out there who dont know how to aim can always be a logi. I get more than half of my WP(and i get over 1500 a game my best is 2454) just from sticking a needle into a noob for a second. Have fun and try not to get shot(or dont just means more war points for me :D) |

Normally I just toss a Flux grenade and then mulch the Caldari Logis I come across. They're really squishy after their shields are stripped off.
But since 1.2, I've been killing them every couple matches with just the flux grenade. 
Oh well. Saves me bullets. |
