So IDK if anyone else has noticed this but I have been using Complex Shield Rechargers for a loooong time now and as of yesterday you only needed lvl. 4 to use the complex ones (not the aurum ones either, the ISK version), but I logged in this morning after the to find that WE NOW NEED LVL. 5 to use the complex shield rechargers CCP, why on earth would you do this???? Something that I have been using for months suddenly requires 500,000 SP more now because of the shield energizers. Was this a mistake or did you intend for this to happen CCP? A response and/or explanation would be appreciated.

Shield regulation still needs lvl. 4. And that's wasn't my point. I was asking if anyone else noticed this and if it was intentional...................seeing as CCP did not mention anything regarding the skill change. |

Yes it was intentional, their reasoning behind it however is just speculation because I've heard nothing definite. |

they did say there was extended down time this morning in order to fix the skill prereqs for the new modules..so im guessing they fixed that too. Its only fair bro, everyone else has to be at level five for all other complex modules. |

It's not about being fair or not. I knew they forgot about the skill pre-req's for the energizers but nothing was ever said about messing with the Shield Recharging skill. And if they intentionally did it then why wasn't the shield regulation skill changed also. The lack of communication about things like this worries me.

It seems to be a mistake. There was no announcement and it is not on the patch notes.
Fair would actually be lvl 4 I will prove this.
L-Weapon mod= 1 skill tree/ H-weapon mod=1 skill tree/ S-weapon mod= 1 skill tree/ Armor skills = 2 skill trees/ SHIELD SKILLS= 3 SKILL TREES. This means caldari logi must be lvl 5 in L-weapon/ 3x Equipment mods/2-4 Low slot mods/ 3x Shield skills to run all complex and proto. there is no other infantry that requires as much sp. "LET THE CALDARI LOGI OP COMMENTS BEGIN"
..Amount of sp needed is much more for shields. ..Flux do more dmg, throw farther, have bigger radius. ..Shields have delay before regain apposed to armor repair is constant
WEAPONS ISSUES Hybrid-plasma dmg= +10% shields/ -10% armor Laser dms= +20% shields/ -20% armor
Railgun, Projectile, Explosives all do more to armor than they do to shield BUT typically still do enough dmg to kill shield infantry in 1-2 shots witch completely negates the fact that shields have higher resist to them. |
