I think CCP is doing a good job in fixing things, but the extreme LLAV buff vs the lack of attention to DS is strange.

RDV's can be called in near instantly to crash into DS now!!! Best AV in the game is free LAVs! ...Well, that aside it's a general improvement. And game is getting smoother. We'll just have to see what 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 bring about. Sad that the pilot suits will also cost a TON of SP, and the bonuses will likely be poor, but required by all vehicle owners. And whatever amount of minmitar damage bonus they give, while it may benefit DS a tad, will hurt us even worse. Since Redline rail tanks will utilize that extra DPS to obliterate us even more. And we know any defensive bonuses will likewise hurt us more than help us against other vehicles. It won't be enough to add even an extra SHOT of surviving to dropships. But other vehicles? Know how hard it is to chase down and kill a LAV in a DS now? Or tank? Know how easy it is for a tank to kill a DS? These discrepancies will only be multiplied sadly. Again I digress. The ground game is improving. Vehicle balance is going off the rails.

The l1 button reminds the ds there is power not that it actually does anything. What I would look for is somekind of acceleration. The hit detection issue is a little more than annoying; mystery doom and can't get the ds to pivot drop nose and go. There was some kind of attention given to the ds With the aerial Assualt pack you got 40 ds and a Booster for all that missed sp. So the short term solution is to buy aur. Merp Bummer. Still like to fly but once the aur is gone and no fix... ds death race one side blue another red and big isk on the line Might as well make it interesting

LAV control changes are good too I think, even though I only ever drive the free ones. Which, honestly, I wish they'd remove so I couldn't.
