With this new update female walk has been nerfed to man-walk. As a lady I feel highly offended that my fat princess walks like a man. CCP, the only ones who wanted this change were women who had a complex in being women in a man's world. The world of gaming. Me as a girl I'm proud of being a gamer, and it makes me happy that I got the chance to make my character a girl. But this girl isn't a girl anymore. So please bring back my sexy female walk.

If they want to let us walk around and mingle, we should have way more options and ways to customize and express ourselves. They've certainly fallen short on whatever vision they initially had for letting people walk around in EVE, which migrated here in the form of the Merc Quarters.
People are too full of themselves and their opinions. People literally get killed over this kind of thinking, relegating people into little definitions that they must abide by based on gender, occupation, status, views, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
It's a disgusting world. I shoot people, in the face, in this game, every day.
Ok. Shoot them dead. Respawn or not, I murder reds. I no longer murder blues, just reds.
Yet I'm supposed to believe that admiring the human form (past lady walk was a tad silly, but again, that should be up to the player to decide) is somehow worse?
So sex appeal is worse than murder?
Seems legit. |

I see no problem with the new walk. The old one was very exaggerated and looked like it was made to be sexy instead of simply a realistic portrayal of a female mercenary walking.
Anyone on the internet can claim to be female. |

I'll support this. For some reason the new walk feels... unnatural to me. Might be that the arms seem to be too far from the sides for a relaxed walk.
Or better yet, do what Dust Fiend said and let us choose. |

It's obviously far from a priority.
I was simply engaging in discussion and mentioning that if you're going to have an Avatar option, you probably shouldn't half ass it by not allowing customization.
There are quite obviously more pressing issues, like getting us out of Beta and into an Official Release build.
Oh, and CCP are the ones who put dev time into this already, sooo.... |

Wait a minute back in 1.1 (and under fanfest) female players petitioned that CCP was some male idiots as the female walk looked like barbie girl / some cheap stripper and not a brutal combat hardened mercenary that would gladly rip the B**** of any guy getting close to tehm.
And now you want in back ??? I'm really questioning if many in here are wolves in sheep clothing... or rather men in womens clothing.....

Give us options. Gestures. Poses. Walk styles. Doesn't need to be now just in the future. After all, we still need drop suits released, bugs to be fixed etc.

It's not that I particularly liked the old walk, I just don't like the new one. As I said above, it feels unnatural.
Also for reference, I am male but I felt that a female character felt more appropriate for the build I was going for (A fast infiltrator scout). |
