Corporations are the "clans" that you join. By default, you are in an NPC corporation - so basically no one runs it.
Player corporations are run by players. By joining a player corporation and and running with a squad, it improves you livelyhood and survivability, which increases the time you are can work to get War Points (which increases your SP at the end of the match), and the number of kills you get, while reducing your deaths.
Take a look at our corp. We are recruiting and we'd be happy to squad up with you to see if you fit us

For some reason running in groups and stomping games makes me get 30-40% less rewards, I get way more by running solo. |

AFK 30 to 40 matches in the MCC every week.
Be sure you have passive SP set on your main character...i do not recommend switching it around...at least not for the first 4 months or so.
Also make a new PSN account or two then make a new Dust account then make a new character and let that character earn passive SP. Let sit for a year....or use one as your alt. So if you cap on your main you can play on your alt both of which will have passive SP set.
On Thursday we will be getting 3x SP...be sure to play enough to cap for the week.
Corps are like clans or guilds. Good places to join squads. |

Perhaps you don't have squad orders being given. |

The easiest way? Activate passive Sp, install boosters to taste, and then log off and play another game.

So there was previously no way to get boosters without spending aur, you can still buy them for aur which is a good way to gain more skill points. However now if you get a player to join Dust and he gains a certain amount of war points you will receive rewards, these can be short boosters or gear and items. There will be multiple mile stones which are war point based each time you will receive more rewards. http://dust514.com/news/blog/2013/06/dust-514-recruiter-rewards-are-here/ so get a friend and save those boosters you are getting because 3x sp is coming up in a few days. http://dust514.com/news/blog/2013/07/weapons-free-with-dust-514-events-in-july-and-august/. So use your boosters on the triple times sp and you will gain a **** tun of sp very quickly. However lastly you can gain more sp by grinding, once you cap out on sp you can only earn up to 1,000 sp a match. How much of that 1,000 sp you make a match is based on how many war points you earn in that match. If you earn 500 war points you will earn 500 sp if you earn 1,000 war points you will earn 1,000 sp if you earn 1,500 war points you will earn 1,000 sp remember you can't earn more then 1,000 war points after you cap out.
I still think the best way to earn sp would to be to buy a 30 day active boosters and a 30 day omega boosters. If I did the math right you will be making 621000 every 7 days if you make all your active sp. This is not including how much you can make from grinding 1,000 sp a match + 500 from the active booster if you make at least 1,000 war points a match. So if you get an omega and active booster by time the 3x sp multiplier hits in a few days you will be making 1,191,000 a week minimum.
Don't worry can't get boosters? Eventually they will be sold for isk when the market opens up this will probably be in a while though.
Also sorry if the numbers are wrong but you can get a idea of what you'll be making during 3x with a active and omega. Also I think you earn even more passive sp when in battle then when outside of the battle or logged off. None the less hoped this helps.
Thank you Eris Ernaga |
