Look, this int that hard to grasp....
Mobility is nice but if you cant fit the plates its a little pointless. Basically, the new plates provide an option for more mobility at the expense of less survivability. Ferroscales are roughly better than Shield Extenders, but require more PG - which is going to be used for the Repair Modules just to offset the ridiculous regen that shields have.
But thats where the problem is. Not at all. See, the issue is that you gave all Assault suits a SHIELD bonus for some stupid reason.
Okay well then theres the Logistics who get a nice armor repair bonus... But wouldnt you know it they have less mobility and less survivability from the starting line, which is self defeating of the armor tanker's plight to begin with. Even then the Caldari Logi gets a freaggin BONUS TO SHIELD EXTENDERS! So not only is Logistics bad for armor, its GOOD for Shield tankers!
Quit ******* around with the modules and give us suits that provide benefits to armor tankers. Re-evaluate armor tanking as a whole, not just the modules. The only suit that benefits from armor tanking is the Amarr Logistics and wouldnt you know it thats a bonus to Armor Repair rate, something thats not exactly the Armor Tanker's strong suit to begin with. Even then, itd never top shield tankers because of how fast they regenerate shields (something the assault suits get a bonus for!) and the buffer put ontop of It (Caldari Logi + Shield Extenders)
And no, im not putting this in feedback and requests because its not either - its a statement on ineptitude. Youllnever fix the issue without fixing the dropsuits first and thinking new plates would help is stupid. |

Assault suits need a bounus to weapon Damage to weapon Damage, they're assault
Logis need a de-buff to weapon damage so assaults attack Logis heal give logi's a bounus to Equipment CPU/PG usage |

S'what they were GOING to do but I guess someone on the CPM said otherwise because they run Shields. |
