In an effort to clean up the forums, I've decided that this could be a place where you give your positive or negative feedback.
I'll start.
Positives:
The new weapon ranges feel great,
A log-out option (FINALLY),
The echo on biomass in finally gone,
The new lighting looks very nice,
ISK transfers between players and corps (no more messenger alts or untrustworthy messengers handling your ISK!)
Negatives:
The lag/framerate drop,
Choppy/laggy enemies hard to hit in cqc,
Still no way to join an alliance through dust itself.
Let's see what you guys and gals have to say. |

NOT ALL MAPS ARE SNOWY.
Note #1: If you can't tell, I like snow.
Note #2: I would buff the armor a little bit, but that's just me. Maybe increase the armor bonuses by 40 across the board.
Note #3: It seems there is a new (possibly scarey  ) headshot sound. Seeing as I run a Mass Driver, I probably wont hear it without my Assault Rifle. |

did you tell them about the snow?
Positives:
snowy maps, decrease in lag, movement and aim is smoother, better lighting and better player mechanics(or so from how i feel it was before)
negatives:non so far |

Snow is our official National Groundcover and should not be trifled with. Forum posts regarding snow must be cleared by the Canadian government.

I just played the most pulse pounding match of DUST that I have ever played in over a year of playing this game. The new range system ENTIRELY changed this game, as I hoped it would. No where feels safe anymore, because just a couple people with good aim can still put you down from very far away. Scouts, you better learn your ninja skills quick, and remember to speed tank when you are out in the open.
Overall everything is much much smoother
I have yet to see new maps and my aiming feels a bit off (I think it's just me readjusting again), and some things like Shield Energizers and Commandon'ts just seem a bit silly, but overall, it's looking like a good update.
Dat log out button. Only took a year, but it's nice to see

A great update with a huge amount of positives.
+Game runs much better at about 30fps
+The Core movement and aimming while a bit flighty is a vast improvment
+Graphics look better texture load in and lighting combined well
+The range balancing is great battles feel more hectic when stuff is flying across the field
+Game all round feels better to play which to alot of people will be a big deal
+Weapon swap speed is nice
+and of course snow
I only found a few issues with it:
-Logi caldari is still the best combat suit
-Strange bug(i hope) where people who are running around shooting are invisible

Very happy with patch. Played about 20 games last night with zero lag, frame rate seems very good and smooth. It seems they cleaned up a lot of the garbage. Still gotta do something about the murder taxi's, but as long as there are people with no gun game I guess we're stuck with em. |
