They were still ignored while other thread were randomly jumped on by CCP devs to be shut down or hinted at possible information. While this gold mine was out there being bumped and further discussed upon?

You need to ask if they are mad? Cat has been having kittens since the patch hit and the day is still young. If he keeps popping them out at that rate, one might eventually have thumbs! Then we are all doomed!

Listening to us does not mean we design the game... it seems we deal more with complaints about problems. And I'm not complaining when I say that!

CCP doesn't want to change something every time the community thinks it's an issue, especially based on feedback of something people haven't even used yet. They obviously had a vision for these new mods and want to see it at least play out for a little while to properly test them. I don't think it's fair to look at this ad CCP ignoring the community, they're being cautious. I guarantee they will watch and study how these plates work in the actual game and will at some point make changed if necessary.

Even if they were alts the discussion in that thread was some of the most positive and constructive I've come across on the forums, a general lack of trolling and douchebaggery was to be found, it was like a new Eden of positive dust discussion that went totally under the radar.

Thats because most of the community just specs shields and calls it a day. IT the FOTY spec. And will continue to do so. Why care about balancing something that has no effect on you. That's the community in a nutshell.
