You can't buy the suits, but Minmatar and Gallente have pilot specs under light frames on the tree.
Pilot Suit Bonus: 10% Active Vehicle Module Cooldown per level
Gallente Suit Bonus: 2% to vehicle shield & armor module efficacy per level
Minmatar Suit Bonus: 5% to vehicle weapon upgrade module efficacy per level

They're pretty nice bonuses, I think the Gallente have the better of the two though.

The interesting thing about this to me is that they have no problem giving us skills without suits. A big part of wanting placeholder suits is so we'd have the skills too... and we could plan, regardless of how the suits look. This suggests it's perfectly within their capabilities to give us all the dropsuit skills even if we had to wait for the actual content. Same story with... Amarr dropships or what-not too I guess. |

Don't know about that I would love to be running through hails of incoming artillery fire, blasters tearing up terrain, diving into cover at the last second, having orbitals rain down, and bombers drop their payloads all over enemy complexes.....

Its a good thing, the driver has to be in a light suit to reap these bonuses, meaning the driver will be extra squishy and easy to kill. |

If it increased base shield and armour or armour repair rate and shield recharge rate I think it would be better. |

Question for you dropsuit users:
If I were to spec say the Gallente to proto
Then I were to spec the minmatar to say level 3
Would I get the 10% pilot bonus while wearing the minmatar suit?
