It was a very informative discussion about his desires on getting fixes and adjustments in as improving CCPs ability to work with it much easier so people wouldn't have to suffer as long if something were to be made off. Nonetheless he did predict that increasing performance of the game would have an effect on aiming not that it is not going to deter him from continuing to work out better controls for you guys and getting them to you in a safe and soon manner. |

Both hit detection and aim are working very well for me. Hit detection maybe less so, but I'm unable to differentiate between when I miss and when the hd is off. As far as aiming - feels smooth and reticule goes to target as desired.

I think there needs to be transparency in this progress. CCP needs to explain the problem or perhaps explain the sort of codes that goes into aiming. I have a feeling that if it is something CCP cannot decode and refine or adjust, they will need to build something from the ground up completely. This (the whole effort toward aiming perfection) should not be a trivial matter hidden behind CCP's doors as it is something fundamental to the future potential of this game of becoming an e-sport. |

LOL at CCP telling the world what their coding issues are. Yep, I'll just hold my breath until a company does something like that publicly.

the increased strafe speed has been causing me all sorts of trouble.. i can't tell if its bad hit detection or I just haven't adjusted... but I would say hitting targets is more difficult now in 1.2 than it was in 1.1. |
