The shorter you press, the less you jump (and uses less stamina).
Longer you charge (kneeling down) higher and further you jump. |

I saw the Title Realistic Jumping, and then Read the Post and thought,
"So you jump by squatting down and then Jumping so you Jump higher?"
Maybe the Harder you Press the X button the Higher you Jump, and therefore the More Stamina Used.
I Remember something Like this in Spiderman 2 (Best Spiderman Game EVAR) and I don't think that the Mercs are Spiderman, so....... |

i want something like this, but how does it work during the run?
and i think mods are the answer to this. a mod that changes your jump height and different level mods let you jump higher? i'm sure there are problems with this as well, but that seems like something ccp would do. |

the other day i was jumping over joe in my cal logi suit and he was in the mini logi suit. now thats about 3m high and in my old heavy suit i could jump about .5m. um is this realistic? |

Also with directions- you can only jump at the angles you can sprint at. Trying to jump left or right will result in a sideways dive (that's also a solution to avoid murder taxis) and jumping backwards will be very halfassed. |
