I like not having a bagpack, it really shows off the ingenuity in our federation. So I ask that our heavy racial variant not have a bagpack as well. Or better yet, instead of a fat suit, have it be a super tall and skinny suit.... with no bagpack. Maybe give it a giant helmet, in order to hold our giant Gallente brains. But in order to support the suit it needs very large boots, I mean really big, like the size of the current Amarr heavy hips, and cuved to reduce drag. Gallente has always been form over function, but this would be a suit with function in mind. |

Definitely no backpack. I want the dropsuit/humanoid equivalent of a myrmidon. |

The Gallente Light has a backpack, and all the other suits have backpacks, so the Gallente one not having one just makes it look dumb.
Besides, if I recall the chart correctly, the Amarr and Caldari are both higher on the tech tree than the Gallente, and both their suits have backpacks. |

So far the Gallente Heavy looks like it's not getting a backpack but it will be a bigger dropsuit and easier to hit.

At least the Amarr Heavy looks better than the Caldori Heavy. Cal heavy just looks like a Cal medium that had one too many donuts to me.
But at least both the Cal scout and the Amarr scout look awesome.
Edit: And the gal heavy reminds me of some sort of rock golem. |
