I'd really like to see a game mode which was lower player count, perhaps only 1 squad vs 1 squad. This game mode would include a very very limited supply of clones, maybe 18 clones for a 6 man team. The objectives should be attack and defend, asymmetrical-style sort of like counter strike i guess. I would hope it would put some emphasis on tight team play, clever use of roles, and more use of equipment not regularly used in other game types.

+1 I like it as AN ADDITIONAL OPTION.

Also, playing on that might be nice because of current performance issues.

supply depots would be key so you can adjust tactics without losing clones (since they'd be so limited).

 Domniation would benefit this.

I'm a fan of Intense Firefights (I'm Lying), but 32 People Exchanging Plasma and Lazor Beems just Makes me Mega Confused.

It could Be Named, like "Encounter", as I could See as Two Recon squads Encounter each other and, in an Effort to prevent the other squad from report back to their Commander, as in an effort avoid Detection be the Enemy, they Went, "off-the-grid", aka, they aren't connected to TAC-Net.

When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 introduced Face Off, it quickly became my favorite mode, because you really HAD to collaborate with your partner or small team to survive. It was probably the most strategic CoD ever got. I'd love to see something like it in DUST.

Medium socket bases like the pyramid might be good settings for it.

I admit this idea was heavily inspired by my days playing Counter Strike back in the day. I like the tension and strategy of knowing you can't just die 1000 times. Glad to see I'm not the only one who might enjoy this as a mode.

As much as I love the idea it would pretty much be the first to spawn a tank wins

A coordinated squad shouldn't have too hard of a time avoiding/destroying a tank. Tanks require support. Also if the objectives were located inside some kind of installation, the tank would be forced to run the area around it, sort of like in skirmish 1.0. Tanks were god in the first phase, dogshit in the second.
