- Improving overall gear balancing so there is no "best" choice and there are tactical choices to make
- Improving situational awareness tools through the UI
- Improving the fitting experience through UI and better integration with the market
There are also things that are not high level roadmap stuff that we'll be working on. Stuff like the addition of snow in Uprising 1.2 is a good example of this. For example, we have some other graphical improvements coming in 1.3, such as some changes to sites and scopes to improve visibility in certain environments, which are not "Roadmap" items but are still important fixes nonetheless. We don't have set-in-stone dates for when certain things are coming. It's also not really possible to share the nitty gritty details of each roadmap item at the moment, for a variety of reasons.
Is it impossible for us to simply get interchangeable/removal sights and scopes on 1.3? Not being able to adjust your scope in a FPS these days, is like buying a new car without air conditioning.
See what I'm saying? Don't make the sights prettier or more functional before we're allowed to swap and change them. We have functional weapon sights/scopes in game RIGHT NOW. Let us swap and switch those now, and then polish them graphically later. Variable zoom sniper scopes and fancy sights can always come later.
Is this an unreasonable request? |

Remedied if we could swap the SMG or Scrambler sight onto it's rack.
We got sights. Just don't understand why we aren't allowed to use them. |

I would put the SMG sight on everything, that little puppy is sweet. I like how it folds up and tucks away nicely. Weapon balance should be done via Numbers, Not a users ability to see through its sights. Hell in most FPS games the only customization they have is the scope, and that seems to be enough for Millions of players.
We do know this: -They already have the model/textures ect. for them done. -If you look at most of the guns, they do have the rail for them to attach onto. (maybe the reason for the irons on the laser) -scope customization is usually very personal in FPS games. One dude might love the guns Irons, somebody else uses a red dot. The gun still kills the same..
We don't even really need a UI for it. Make them weapon upgrade modules. Complex "Red dot" light damage. + 5cpu +1pg over standard dmg mod.

I don't think that this would be an easy thing for them to set up as a side project as they will have to at least modify the fittings and add sights to the market. They may need to create new models for the weapons as well(it depends on if the sights are part of the model or not).
If they aren't working on anything else then this would be something nice but definitely not necessary at this point in time. |
