Hey so.. there's no battleclinic or scrapheapchallenge for dust yet... (as far as I know)
so why not setup our own? quote and rate the loadout above yours for things like effectiveness, creativity and fun...
maybe someone can learn something, who knows.
I'll start it up.

this loadout is designed to be my replacement to the laser rifle. you take a dropship or hoof it to a vantage point, setup drop uplinks and go to town. can also remote rep any friendlies after a gun fight if they get gimped, and can tank yourself with your armor reps and compacts under fire.
there is room to remove the grenade and put in a new one, 2pg free and 39 cpu free.
there you go. looking forward to seeing others, too haha. |

hahah yeah.. i need to use a gallente logi tho. the armor rep bonus is to good too pass up, especially since it reps under fire and you can use compacts, too. |

i remember there was a.. teamplayer guy i think back in chrome that used a scout suit with his laser. did pretty good with it. |

I'm doing alright with the LR this build, maintaining my 4+KDR. As mentioned above, mobility is the key with the Laser Rifle in getting into correct tactical position IMO. I love that the Amarr Assault has TONS of stamina, just wish it were a wee bit faster. Look forward to the new armor plates coming out that will not reduce speed. |

The speed penalties still aren't really worth it. I have a Caldari ck.0 version of this that substitutes two of the armor plates for a CPU/PG extender. With those in you can still fit everything else, plus the one extra shield extender in the highs. |

I can fit the militia version no problems and it's cheaper than the basic (using BPO) so I stick to that.
As for the plasma cannon my KD has gone up since I started using it, and I'm having way more fun than I ever did with assault rifles so it's a win-win situation for me overall  |

I've been running scout with a plasma cannon quite a bit lately ... and having a ton of fun. It's probably sort of mental, but I love it. Only problem is fitting that plasma cannon in there with that terrible CPU capacity ... hardly leaves room for anything else! |

i tried the amarr proto assault suit before the respec.. i started with the viziam laser and swapped to the scrambler and idk..
it feels like while it can have some really high ehp that that's the only way it can be really fit? you know? fitting damage mods on leaves you with this kind of gimped armor tank, and if you want to properly build the shield tank its like.. i dunno.. don't really dig the suit. |

That is true, you really need a CPU upgrade if you want decent mods, but then causing a proto heavy/shotty scout to explode makes that cost SO worth it  |
