You could say that it's KDR, career war points, or non-existent statistics like war points per life, or damage received per life. Be inventive!

Me, personally, I'd say that ratio of deaths to tank kills is the most important. It's something that I'd be very interested in seeing.

 God, yes. I want this.

Edit: and what I really want, what I've wanted since day 1, is a isk gained to isk lost indicator at the end of each match. It would be incredibly helpful. I already do this with a spreadsheet, but it would be really good for the people who aren't Spreadsheet Warriors like me.

Ratios pretty much make people being d***s.

Ratios make people camp, ratios make people rage, ratios make people noob-stomp, ratios are an old-fashion that bring horrible persons in any game and ruin the fun.

Even though KDR can be TDM related, it means NOTHING in objective games. Players are scared to hack an objective, WTH?

And if a "Capture the Flag" will ever come, that's gonna be a full-time Ambush with 10+ snipers per match (and I say it because I'm a sniper and I know that most snipers are d***s) scoping in the flag and occasionally reading a newspaper and having a cup of tea.

If that ever comes, people will realize KDR is a terrible thing in objective games.

 Example: See Uncharted 3.
People asked Naughty Dog to remove KDR from Team Objective and Plunder for 1 year. In the end we won. Objective-based mode have finally become awesome.

War Points ... that is the only stats i look at.

 - K/D ratio depends on the class ( Heavies will have a better ratio than a Scout )
 - Win / lost ratio ( Depends on your team, and how many people is AFKing )

War Points is the most representative stats of how well a person plays Dust 514.

-Cant be WP, because there are alot of great things that dont reward them. (destroying equipment, dropshipts ect.) and somethings are rewarded to high.

-Cant be kills, Some people still play support roles.

-Cant be W/L, people who are squaded more often will have higher number.

-Cant be KDR, different classes/roles (snipers tanks, vs suicide RE scout bombers )

pulling a profit / breaking even, Or causing a Loss for somebody else is pretty high on my list.

This is how I judge myself. KDR means nothing to me as we are immortal. It's why I can't understand proto use in pub matches. I have a basic 10k Pub match fit and lose no more than 6 in a game on average. Meaning I make a profit of 150k+ a match on most games. I'm a Merc. I'm here to make money.

I've killed guys using proto heavies 5 or 6 times a match meaning their losing up to three times the money they make from the match.

Plus according to Nullabor and FoxFour at Fanfest, part of the reward mechanic is based in the cost of the suits you destroy. You kill me in my 10k suit 5 times, big deal. You're not getting a lot of ISK. I kill you in your proto suit 5 times... I'm cashing in big style.

Delete all stats and only have Isk lost and gained. Everything else is too easy to distort.

Damage done/received sit in turret at beginning of match and destroy everything in reach.
 KDR - snipe for ages.
WPD - speed tank, hack everything close by and then return to redline to avoid death.
 And so on.

Where as Isk gained/destroyed can only be manipulated by wearing cheaper gear and thus increasing your risk of being killed.

However, combine it with the weapon the player uses most e.g. Sniper Rifle, TAC AR and so on. Keep WP to encourage hacking and capping but loose the deaths stat.

Basically with limited or no stats people are more likely to play the game for fun and not worry about their stats. The only thing you should worry about is having enough Isk to run your fittings.

 War Points per Death.

It's not a tracked statistic, so people don't really try to improve it. It tells you how effective the player is as a teammate in all game modes.
