A *drumroll* Flux MD. Basically a longer spread MD that doesn't hurt armor but is instead used as a complete AOD weapon.
Having issues with a calogi? flux MD him and finish him off with the noob tube. With a LOLheavy? flux MD him and melee his slow ass.

I'd give forge guns a scope for effective forge sniping. Still a Flux MD would be awesome you could send thousands of calogis back to respec because suddenly their not assault players |

I agree that this would be a great idea. Mass drivers tend to be more of a support/crowd control weapon more than anything, and this would give them a little more leeway on playstyle.
On a similar note, I think a flux/EM AV grenade that only did shield damage and/or temporarily disabled a vehicle would be a really cool addition too. Shutting down those damn invulnerable Logi LAVs for even 5 seconds would give me enough time to headshot the driver and steal his precious murder taxi. |

Don't think it will ever happen, to many people shield tank and they will whine that its OP then the nerfs come and it become useless like the laser.... |

my buddy Fiddle said don't use the freedom, use the exo and pimp out the rest of your char. until they fix projectile's the mass driver will suffer, but it is a good weapon if you are good with it. |

i find the extra bit of splash is worth it, i tried to go back to the EXO for isk reasons but ended up missing the extra bit of splash |

Direct is where it's at bruh. 2x the damage It can beast 1v1, especially once they fix the bugs. |

The reason i'd give it a scope is to force CCP to let me see how much charge my forge gun has . Seriously who bright idea was it to move the charge meter at the bottom-gotdam-right??? At least with a scope i'd be able to see it again.
That and it'd be downright nasty for vs AI combat what with a dot. |
