Though its not worth its weight in pi$$ it gives you something to do How does buying something from someone else confer bragging rights? Why not just spend the 80 MIL ISK on a clone pack and actually play the game? A single cone pack doesn't guarantee a district, now a days districts hold more the 180 clone and may consist of multiple attacks to take a district. We are just talking about if you win them all. If you take the district you must be prepared to defend it and you just don't get enough clones to keep fighting or enough money to even want to fight. PC is broken and the number of district is a form of power. Once you collect many districts and enter a war the game become a job and if you lose your corp has a high chance of breaking up. Like I said PC is not worth its weight in Pi$$ but it gives you something to do |

Like I said PC is not worth its weight in Pi$$ but it gives you something to do If we had the chance for officer module/weapon drops on percentage of dropping each day for owning different districts then everyone would be fighting over the balacs drop one/ the gastuns forge one/the officer shield module one/officer assault suits that would monopolize a corp making it more unfair to noobs. What should happen is that Dust districts should be able to make and sell EVE equipment at a cheaper cost to its alliances. It would force a more cooperation with dust and eve. Eve players will actually fight over districts and help assist in wars. |

Like I said PC is not worth its weight in Pi$$ but it gives you something to do I'm fully aware of all this. I just don't see how that translates to why someone would buy a district. Seems the only viable reason to even play PC is for the "good fights," if you're not going to even bother with the fighting and just buy the little colored hexagon from someone else, how exactly is this generating any content? I guess if your corp is so broke that you can't fund a couple of merc packs, then it's a viable option... but if you can't scrape together a few hundred million ISK, I have a hard time believing you have a corp capable of really participating in any sort of structured environment in the first place. I just don't get it. To me, it seems like buying a First Place Trophy with your name on it on the internet. You make a good point but I think people that is because of relevancy. People want their corp and hard work to be known and I think PC is the best way to do this. Obtaining a spot on "little colored hexagon" have merit to ego and pride. Also collecting a district is a mark of progression is someway or another. PC in a way replaces the leaderboard. PC right now is full of pitbulls and if you are able to at the very least stand with them (by taking or buying a district) just to have your corp name where all can see and not scroll down for 5 minutes to find on leaderboards. Also you'll get good fights every once and awhile (hopefully without lag). This is my best opinion or at least why I still play PC |
