Whether DUST is making enough money? I don't want them pulling from the EVE rainy day fund to keep DUST afloat, but I also don't want them to get rid of DUST. |

Or.. CCP should start selling customizable skins for our dropsuits, LAVs, HAVs, DSs, and weapons(?). I'd pay money for that. I'd also pay money for things that can make my Merc Quarters look better.

F2P is a risky move. Other companies tried it, some succeeded while others have fail and I would not be surprised if CCP is losing funds on Dust. That is why CCP, needs to make people happy that play the game and try to get more to play the game. If I was CCP, I would have hire someone that knows a few things about FPS or at least get some reference on other games.
P.S Also add more colors to the games, bright colors to be exact. |

They're not all s**t posts, just some of them. I could go to extremes and use my powers of imagination to only make happy, content posts about how great this game will be someday. |

Seven affixed lasers in rotation. You can modify the focusing crystals on each, altering the colour of each laser. Let them taste the rainbow, oh yes, ehehehee...

According to their financial records for the 2012 year, they are doing just fine. How else can you explain CCP being able to cover expense of third-party voice comms for us after the release of Uprising 1.0? It might also explain their slow progress. Short staff in the Shanghai office, not flooding the development with too much money, etc. CCP is proving to be very efficient when it comes to money. That's usually what happens when an indie company has to adapt to make the most out of every dollar that they have.
Let's also not forget the fact that they are one of the rare few companies that are still experiencing a steady climb of Eve Online subscribers each year in relation to each year before that starting from 2003. World of Warcraft may have millions of subscribers and probably SWTOR but those companies see wild fluctuations in subscription numbers to the point that they are having trouble maintaining a constant growth over the period of a few years. Keep a very careful mind that this is all happening in era where free-to-play is becoming the norm. |

World of Warcraft is dropping subscriptions like a rock though lately. |

Yeah, I think WoW has like 7 Million subscribers now, it had like 12-13 Million 2 years ago.... That's a huge drop, WoW won't die anytime soon but that's a really huge drop.
Since you know this is a Sony exclusive, I'm sure Sony has given CCP a bag a cash... |

I am skeptical that you have access to CCP's financial sheets.
It is a private company. |

Sony expects that bag of cash back though eventually however I think from the way I am seeing things as a CPM it seems to be more of Sony actually investing in preparation for the PS4 environment of having free to play and MMOs on its consoles. A very very harsh lesson that Xbox is going to have to learn with WoT developer (and if they don't learn the lessons there MMOs will flock to the PS4)
I mean lets take everyone's favorite example, Planetside 2. Planetside 2 has near weekly patches on the PC Client.
Now Imagine those weekly patches being not only a month late but a month at a time vs its PC version. Oh how the meta is going to game around that. You will see a very unhealthy shift in cert spending based on the month or two warning in advance of patches up and coming.
So there is only two solutions, Sony gets better at its approval process, or SOE (separate division from Sony) has to deep six their weekly patches so that PS4 side does not cause the meta death on the PS4 client keeping them relatively close to each other.
But that is the old Sony. It will take me about another month or two to see the results of CCPs workings with the console company bears any fruits because I'll be honest code lock for 1.2 was some time back. |

I think a lot of folks are a bit clueless about the depth of process that can be involved when dealing with large corporations that are coordinating actions between many players.
Things slow down. |
