I dont like tge idea of seperating vehicles from my meat shield... cough cough.. I mean infantry as a shield tanker I rely heavilly on my squad for support as they do me. If the enimy team dosent bring av to the field its every one of their faults as this role can be carried out by every merc. Its just as iv said to my officers when they are running squads with out tank support then it is every mercs duty to be prepaird with at least ruadmentry av . If they dont have at least malitia av setups then they are nothing but usless blueberries when faced with vehiclular opposition. All squads from my corp have designated av that can be anywgare from 6 malitia swarm and forge rambos too fully specked av experts. Av is a roll like any other the more you out into it the more you get out of it. Rant over..
Best sollution ive seen is just create vehicle free equivalents of ambush and skirmish but on a smaller scale maps. This would stop all the whiny cod boys from ruining any more vehicles as they'll all be happy running the COD514 no vehicle modes. |

If it cost 10 mil isk it should take a whole team to take it out -_- The current HAVs cost on average 700,000-900,000 And you want a the barely better versions of these to be call proto and cost 10 mil. You're the most unbiased person I have ever met dude. Brilliant! -_-
Dude there has been countless proto hav threads as wr really do need them . And most dedicated tankers I know would happily pay 8mill+ for true prot hav hulls. Yes they would require the teamwork of at least 3 proto avers to destroy but thats balance. I would pay 10 mill for a fully kitted true proto tank any tanker worth their salt would.

PRO: *new players ragequit less due to not being killed by LLAVs and HAVs that are too good to kill with mlt AV *tankers can finally get ADV and PRO havs without slaughtering the entire enemy team by themselves in pubs, meaning tanks can become powerful enough to play in PC without the fear of seeing a single proto swarm or forge and knowing they are screwed. *Murder taxis only exist in PC
CON: *AV becomes even less profitable, as they can only make money in PC [solution= increase ISK reward for vehicle kills 1000% and decrease weapon cost 40%] *LAVs and DS's can only be deployed in PC, so they cannot be roles in and of themselves- at all. [solution= Make them 60% cheaper]
Again, I understand that this idea is generally only proposed by noobs, so I'm trying to see what the community thinks of it now that I have fleshed it out so it hurts everyone a little bit less. (sorry AV, I tried to make it easier as best I could, as I dont want any roll to be unprofitable)
Please, I want everyone to tell me if this is as awful as I originally thought it was or if there is some twilight sparkle of hope here to make dust 20% cooler. Thanks /] [\ TL;DR From the few sentences I did bother to read i can already tell this is another QQ thread. DENIED Now go away
