I use Scout Nova knives and I laugh when I see a laser rifle I just rush him in a zig-zag motion and I cn kill that guy I wish I knew what exactly to buff though I see the range seems to short. the scrambler rifle is better to use in almost every aspect, same as assault rifle currently is you see a laser rifle its either a dedicated laser rifle guy or a newb that wasted alot of SP. |

So yeah.
Honeslty though, I'd like to see a laser rifle fix as well. Maybe I could put that Amarr racial bonus to use then. Until then, non-racial proto for me. = )

It would be a far more effect weapon if they'd just remove the visible beam. You can't aim with it down the sights and it's a pointless addition(in every sense of the word) that allows the enemy a follow the beam back to you.
ETA: Also, **** those steel sights. |

It would balance better with the AR and SR then. The laser is already **** in CQC, so you cut out a great deal of combat there, but when you do get a good mid-range shot the beam gives the target a visual advantage, they just follow it back to you. A bloom at the end of your weapon, like the Forge Gun, would be better. |

Laser rifle is a great weapon when used within its parameters.
I don't know how many times I've said that in this forum.
It's not an all purpose weapon to use in every situation but a med-long range weapons that hurts bad, even the basic.
no **** it's not good at close range, is a sniper good at close range combat? What about a shotgun for long range combat?
No, those are weapons with a specific combat purpose just like the laser rifle.
The only thing that is worth complaining about is the sight |
