Each time I play, it's a new experience. New tactics, new enemies, new strategies. I do get bored after a while, especially if I'm capped. The low quality graphics get painful to look at, but every game is different. |

I think its ok, but the texture pop-in is just terrible, sometimes the texture on buildings and my turrets never appear. |

Yeah, though the "feature" where you can see dots running even when they are behind objects, because the objects themselves are too far to render when not scoped, is interesting.
I don't like the damned grass or bushes popping out of nothing. Maybe push the render distance a bit further out or maybe have them resize a bit less drastically somehow. Not sure what would constitute a fix. I also think the way they are implemented is backwards.
If you hide behind grass, so to speak, the stupid thing won't render to someone -- leaving you exposed. But, on your end, it sits in front of your scope being a pain in the arse -- as if you wouldn't be able to reposition yourself. Maybe have it go a bit translucent when scoped (or at least make it harder for someone to line of sight you).
Anyway, none of these are really a big deal... just grumbling. Call off the instant fix team... there are higher priorities. |

Better than framerate lag. I believe the game engine lets the PS3 load textures jonly when it's free enough to do so. Which is ingenious. The framerate still being mediocre at best isn't. |
