DUST Search - I think shield tanks are run and gun tanks

but shields are not the hit and run HAVs they are slower then armor with worse reps and lower EHP.

They are faster in a straight line but im pretty sure shield tanks take off faster, even if they don't shield tanks can actually turn unlike the whale species named madruger.

Shield tanks should get their hardeners brought into line with the armor hardeners and their rep made a bit stronger, but knowing CCP they'll just nerf the armor tank down to the shield tanks lvl, i've never understood why ppl used to insist that shield tanks were the best anti tank tank, its always been a great inf stomper but armor is stronger in a real fight, always has been.

So all I could do with it was keep moving and gunning down in the same time and run away to get some of my shield back so i could it again. I saw that this tactic worked for the tank, because it was able to take some av and swarm launcher and running away to repeat the process. The only reason we got blew up was when over 5 people on the team went swarms. I would say if he added a shield booster i would had gotten more than 17 kills with it.

The way I like to use armor HAVs is to just charge through an area with the blaster firing and at least wound a lot of people, while not giving time for AV to react. The HAV fulfills its purpose that way- sending the enemy infantry scrambling for cover

Edit: Remember this was not my tank i normally run madruger, but I stole this one from the emeny team and had to work with it.
