I'd love it. The enjin site for Eon. is sparsely populated. As is the FB group. It'd be much easier and effective if we all just had an alliance forum. We could use it to organize PC matches, foster unity through trash talking other Alliances, and make it easier for spies cause they wouldn't have to trawl through so many sources.  I think it's worth it.
Thoughts? |

Not gonna happen, man.
Alliance forums are a much bigger deal than providing Corporation forums, which most Dust and EVE Corporations don't even use.
I mean, as an example, when I was in Fatal Ascension, we did fundraisers to keep the Alliance website up. You usually end up hosting far more than just forums with such a site, so they limited utility of having forums here really wouldn't be worth the effort.
Besides, how do you think it would look to have EVE players have to provide their own Alliance websites while Dust players get Alliance Forums for free?

Looking at alliances forums should be a mandatory requirement - especially for PC. May seem strange - but even the PS3 browser can access enjin sites.
NF surely enjoys there site lol |

First, Cooperate Forums: The CEO has to do something with a link or something to set them up, and I think your corp has to have 10 people. If your Corp has a Cooperate forum and this is the first time you logged into the forums after joining the Corp, if you are not seeing the Corp forums, then just wait a few hours. There is a bit of a delay.
As for Alliance forums, we sign in with our Playstation Network accounts to see this forum, so for the EVE players in your Alliance to sign into the Alliance forum CCP would probably have to completely change the forum site and how it handles authentication. |
