Couldnt log onto this forum the entire beta time for some reason.
Then been playing other games until I remembered this game and then played for a while only to be majorly disappointed and now just sit accumulating SP waiting to see if this game does a complete 180 and actually listens to people about its major flaws which it wont. |

Dust 514 just does soo many things wrong Im baffled that its in this condition after a year of beta testing.
I want it to succeed but from reading the forums I can see its Zipper 2.0 all over again.
Planetside 2 does alot right but just as much wrong.
Its smoother, has more players etc but then when it gets down to it it works like this.
Primetime one faction takes a point then goes to sleep.
Then the other faction has more players and retakes the base.
What it amounts to is people standing in doorways in MAX suits defending a base while 5 people hide around the corner healing them over and over and over.
Eve is such a niche game that requires a certain type of person to play it that it cant really be compared and is on its own really.
All of them besides old MAG are pretty much meh and dont do anything thats mindblowing or addicting imo and people who think PS2 will be their salvation will be disappointed.

I havent played on PC for a while but there is something similar on the XBox version but I mainly make giant pooping butts so I wouldnt know. |

A success yes but then again CoD and BF3 are considered a success.
I think it actually might do better on PS4 than PC dude to it being on a console and the hype its gettting.
Then people will realize the whole faction war means nothing and as quick as you gain ground, you wake up to it all lost again.
If people hate the zerg rush in MAG oh man are they gonna hate PS2.
Its pretty much all about the zerg and whoever has the most numbers on at the time wins every time.
But ya it will probably be a success as far as popularity goes.
