If there's anything missing feel free to add. Personally, I miss my Freedom mass driver or as lands when I got up on the pipes with a logo and Manus peak with a glass cannon that did 5000 damage per shot- killing 7 tanks/match was average and mlt swarms were not a threat.yup. I think the vets miss Chromosome. It was actually almost balanced.

That was the only remotely OP thing in Chromosome and all it needed was a 15% DMG reduction to armor. Bam. Perfect. But no, it gets hit even harder than tanks, like, it drop ship status, now. Seriously though, I never asked for Uprising, I've had way more fun than I do now. Shooting RVDs is fun, but whenever I get to transport even a sniper somewhere fancy, it's like a breath of fresh air. Too bad they qualify ground troops to operate aircraft - puts me out of business.

That lasted for a week or two then uprising came out :( Since then it feels like I am always at a handicap fighting proto users with 900hp and twice my movement speed, or scout guys that can dance around my bullets from a ledge while popping me with whatever FOTM weapon they are using. Always a challenge, and that isnt necessarily a bad thing either.. just frustrating at times. * not talking about pubs, those are still fun and usually easy to perform well.

Your targets must also be stupid.

Mass Drivers = Good players are still using it Missile Turrets = Deadly against Vehicle, installation and tanks Laser Rifle = Didn't need the nerf, as much as i hated it. Tweaking would've been great Dropships = they are sort of doing what they were supposed to do HMG = Really? MH and Boundless (enough said) Shotgun = A good shot gunner still one shots a Proto AR TAR = needed tweaking Logis = not the Caldari AR logis, good ones are still there. Not as much, but they are there

There was a fight between me and a LR user on a building above me. It more or less ended with both of us running out of ammo and pulling SMGs.

I miss Chromosome so much...more so the aiming and the range of the weapons than anything else..it was totally different than this build. The only thing they had to do on that build was nerf the damage on the laser rifle a bit and it would have been perfect. I could care less about the racial suits and their different bonuses. I mean, yes I do exploit the **** out of the caldari logi..but I would rather have the old proto suits available to myself and everyone else over the ability to spec into these new suits..it makes the game unbalanced. In chromosome, if you used an AR, you used the assault proto and if you were a logi, you used the Proto Logi..and that was almost universal among all players. It was how you outfitted your suit , tailoring it to your play style, that gave you diversification...not being able to have 1000+ eHP on a logistics suit as an Assault. Chromosome > Uprising

It's definitely a weapon you need to get close to use, which is as it should be. I also miss the old protosuits of Chromosome. I would love to have a scout suit with 3H/3L/2E slots..... now I get 3/2/1 with the minmatar or 1/4/1 w/ the Gallente. Both are too specialized IMO.
ANON Illuminati A.N.O.N.Y.M.O.U.S. 96	Posted - 2013.06.24 20:51:00 - [26] - Quote I think Chromosome needs to be back minus the sharp shooter. to be honest chromosome was the best build out of all the builds ive been playing since the 1st build under various names but ive been on and chromosome was definetly the most balanced build ever only thing that needed nerfing was the sharpshooter skill on lazor and ar rifles and i use ar's. the skill tree is now a joke as well. ccp failed and did this. skill point system....... added skills to unlock skills. waist of sp to make it longer to get what you worked so hard for or already had previous builds. being that it was the end of beta a character wipe woulda been the best thing to do because the game went from unfair due to range of weapons to unfair to all new players trying to play the game because of the proto pub stomp that has unleashed. i am a proto user but not in pub unles facing a stacked team of players i know will give a challenge. im not saying this because i feel some type of way because im fine about it i just dont think its fair to the newer players in the community who 1.cannot join a bigger or better corp due to nobody wanting to teach them 2. the massive amount of skilled players to non skilled players. atleast in chromosome people had a chance to start and the skill tree gave them more power gear then it does now. Now with only 500k in points to start with and the sp sink you can barely make it to proto anything to begin with or even any advance gear and if you dont buy aur for boosters your just screwed. ccp you need to think of your newer players as well as the entire community and fix your errors.
