step one: nerf MLT LAV's
step two: make it to where at low speeds, light frames fly a distance, and lose a 1/4 of their total eHP, medium frames get pushed a little, and Heavy frames stop the LAV; medium speeds kills light frames, makes medium frames fly and lose 1/2 of their eHP, and pushes heavy frames a little and makes them lose 1/8 of their eHP; high speeds kills Light and medium frames, and makes heavy frames fly and loses 1/2 of eHP; high speeds with nitro kills all suits.
step three: Remind all mercs not to play in the street.
step four: ingore any LAV is OP threads after this.

I loke the idea but I dont think a heavy should survive a dunt from my llav at high speed with out a nitro. Think about it 126mph 5 ton of lav = **** loads of momentum and thusly dammage. |

That's an incredibly stupid idea.
1: If we take actual damage from hitting people, LAV's won't be a option anymore, as people for some reason likes to stand in the road (which is any open area). We drive on the road, so we have to run people over, otherwise, we would die.
2: You guys like to stand in tight groups, so it would potentially kill the LAV, a vehicle, by roadkill. Just no.
3: Like I said. If your in the road, you're going to get hit. Stay the **** outta the way.

Now try again with a super customized Humvee that has stronger armor, and goes faster, say 150 MPH or so, maybe more with nitro. Yea, I think I would go straight through some horses, jsut like I'm going straight through that Heavy,

At this point do people think the rumored Webifiers hinted at prior to Uprising to no longer be in development.
My thoughts are these could really change the dynamics of the current LAV usage. Used in Partnership with a fellow blue dot you could then be able to either take out the LAV or the clones in it.
I suppose it would depend on the rate of slow down on the Webifier of course.

Support. I never liked the suggestion that heavy frames should damage the LAV. As people have said, that would just mean heavies could blow up LAVs by purposely getting in their way. |

@2: Dieing from running into a bunch of infantry? Good. Besides, that also happens now, due to the way you currently lose speed and/or go flying or simply should get hit by a hail of AV nades
@3: People are running over people in strange places - I've, for the heck of it, run over infantry on stairs and ****.
Please also note: I suggested limiting the damage to that of the infantry's armor. In the case of all other than Heavies, this wont do much(!) damage, but enough to get some of the DeathRace514 players to back off. |

Military speck humvee can with stand rpg fire. And with a large bull bar on the front im sure it would make light work of 3 horses when steamrolling at 70mph. |

Not yet a +1 from me. i would say that full speed, an LAV would kill any suit. also if an LAV has enough time to hit full speed before sending you into space, then its your fault for not using cover and obstacles in the first place.
an AV grenade should knock an LAV off course depending on where the explosion was.
losing speed 20%/40%/60% for Light/Medium/Heavy would be sufficient for a first attempt curb murder taxis, as speed is an LAVs survival and needs to keep it, losing speed would make the LAV much more vulnerable.
LAV going full speed at 4 mercs, two are carrying AV one light, 2 heavies, 1 medium. LAV goes for the crowd kill at full speed. after first heavy it will be going at 40% speed, hits medium in same run, it does not kill medium but gravely wounds the medium, but the LAV is now going at 27% or something of its top speed leaving the AV carrier an easy kill, even easier if they were to try to hit the medium a second time. which may kill the medium but they would lose an LAV
i do however think MLT need to be slower and have less acceleration, its a free ******* vehicle, it should suck horribly |

even handed damage - irl if you hit a pedestrian with a car both take damage. if you hit a future armored pedestrian with a future armored car both should take damage.
how many infantry kills irl are due to collisions with jeeps charging round the battlefield? its a ridiculous gameplay mechanic.

Actually, one time maybe a couple weeks ago, I was messing around with the scout LAV to see if the difference in speed/acceleration was anything legit (it's ehhh). Anyway one guy was out in the open and i'm in my little LAV so heck yeah i'm gonna hit him. I had stage one nitrous burning and I hit the dude so damned hard I took a few hundred damage to my shields and went up on the front wheels in a DEAD HALT. Mind you this guy was in a caldari medium frame... so i'm sorry, taking damage from DUI kills is already in place (Try it and see) but apparently you have to be going retardedly fast (remember, scout lav, fastest one, with nitrous burning on a straight, which I didn't mention) but I have yet to see this with my so called 'murder taxi' the limbus, or the baloch. Not that i'm trying much though, Lai Dai packed av's scare the holy hell outta me in anything with wheels/treads/thrusters, especially seing as how I run gallente vehicles so you know...
This isn't me being a girl and saying nerf the av 'nades into the dirt though, because if someone can beat you with a cheap trick... Well, i'll be one to pick up that cheap trick |

Militia LAV-¦s should be thrown through the air a few meters if they crash a heavy at top speed. All other tiers of LAV-¦s should loose control and eventually be lifted up a bit like in this video of a crash between an Audi Q7 and a Fiat 500 with 114 km/h (68 mph) total. The weight of the Q7 is about 2700 kg which is about the weight of a LAV while the Fiat weights about 1000 kg which is about the weight of a Heavy frame. |

I do not agree with numbers, but I like the core idea. I think that a speed to enemy size ratio would work best. Also size of LAVs should matter too so the slower beefier LAVs are not penalized and the faster LAVs still get roadkills too.
I think that the idea for LAVs to take damage when impacting a player makes sense but would have to be tweaked for balance. I think that it makes sense, look at what happens when you hit a deer at 40 mph in a car today. The mass difference is huge yet the deer still messes up the front end. Perhaps they could add a module that reduces impact damage. This would allow non mlt LAVs to become roadkill machines while also reducing the annoying overuse of MLT LAVs. |

A bullbar would be nice. The scout LAV could have this by default.
