They are turrets. They are suppose to do that kind of damage. They are also not that hard to deal with. Send in one or two scouts to deal with the operator and hack the turret or have your HAV or forge gunner blast it out of the ground. |

They arent op... just get a railgun tanker or four swarm launchers make short work... if anything they might need a shield buff because it only takes me three railgun shots to destroy them. Everything has a counter to it |

They are turrets. At the moment they are neither UP or OP. But, they are BADLY BALANCED.
Depending on your suit/vehicle speed, they either always automatically miss or automatically hit. That's kinda boring and understandably bad for dropship users.
It would be better if their aim would get better after each consequtive shot - a bit like with real operator. That would take away the annouing 'always perfect hit' problem and also 'nanananaa you can never hit me' as well.
Other points: Installations are ridiculously weak - they should be HP buffed unless these are the militia grade versions. Well even the militia ones should be a bit more durable.
Damage and heating model is okay for blasters and rails. Missiles are lol-weak. |

Hold on...have you ever tried hitting someone with those? they overheat after the 6th shot, they have to account for charge time, travel time of the round, leading the target, the speed of the target, the size of the target, orientation to the target...you need to HTFU. Wait till you see a good tanker using a proto railgun . You're going to quit, then. |

I love manning back of the map railgun installations and spending the whole match getting awesome skill shots on full speed LAVs or weaving dropships - it's a great feeling to know you led that target just perfectly and then quickly managed to re-aim for the follow up shot to get the kill.
They are ridiculously easy to kill though and most of the time you won't know where you're being shot from until the things already destroyed, whether it's a tank or swarms. |

Or if you manage to get exactly in front of where it's already pointing? There's no way the auto-aim shot someone falling out of the sky. |
