But seriously what ever happened to hacking a enemy vehicle and getting to keep it since you are no longer giving them as salvage? Why does the enemy get to have the vehicle back at the end of the match? |

That wasn't so much of Tank Theft as "if it is just sitting there..." type of thing.
I really have to question Mr. Blueberry's logic. "Let me call in my Tank and let it sit there!" I can only imagine how sad he was when you were driving away with it. "Damn, and I JUST finished fitting it the way I wanted!" |

Here's an idea:
What if there was a mod you could put on a vehicle to "lock" it to prevent theft, like a security device?
There could be a cheap, low-level version that would lock out everyone but your squad-mates, and a more expensive, advanced version that would lock out everyone but the owner.
Teammates could still take it (if you get killed or abandon it, for example), but they'd have to hack it as if it were an enemy vehicle to do so.
Thoughts? |

I feel that it should be an option 4 vehicle owner. Not a mod u have 2 add. Just like vehicle recall they need 2 add it as a feature of vehicles in general. But if owner wants 2 give vehicle he should be able 2 as well |

My take one part humor, one part serious.
1. Remote recall, locks enemy in for ride to their death (stolen Apophis' death glider auto-recall, SG-1: Tangent)
2. Hack & boom (007's Lotus anti-theft system from Moonraker)
3. Sticky remote explosive, no way to disable (call it 'scorched earth' tactic, asset still lost)
4. 'Valet mode' so team can use vehicle if enabled.
Implemented as a module or integrated, rendered inert only after VERY long secondary hack (60-90secs). So you could still hack & steal it but it would be a potential time-bomb if you didn't take time to secondary hack alarm.

get out of the LLav Hack the tank as my teammate bravely fights of the 5 enemy's 1v5
i get the tank proceeded to keep it and then crash it into a wall just before the match ends
guy sends me a message at the end of the match asking for feed back on how good his tank was
give him feed back that it was solid but i would recommend more tank over active scanner
18 kills 0 deaths that match
i was just running a MLT scout suit with a MLT hacking mod and drop uplink XD |
