Its important to note that they probably still cant play with both characters at the same time, but they can atleast have two accruing passive points. WHICH is huge on eve because many players pay for two accounts just so they can train two characters. Now I realize theres nothing stopping Dust players from just hoarding say..... 10 alt accounts as the game is free to play. But if that's true and players are going to do it anyway, I see no reason why CCP just doesn't give us the ability to passive gain our other characters slots too..... idk maybe that's just me.
YOU NEED ONLY READ THE FIRST PARAGRAPH TO GET THE POINT MY LAZY READERS...... LAZY READERS MUST FLOURISH!!!!! THE REST IS JUST ADDITIONAL INPUT THAT ADDS TO THE ARGUMENT.
To clarify the last statement. "if players are going to 'cheat' and make several alt accounts anyway, CCP might as well just let us passive gain either two or all three of our alt characters" The reason for this is because theres no reason to make it harder to do something a majority of players are going to do anyway. AND if I remember correctly there was a time when you COULD passive gain all three characters if you wanted to.
PLUS its not like passive gaining is even that fast to begin with. It takes several months for a character to earn just a couple million in passive points, and from a business stand point it would be could for CCP to do this because if some of the hardcore players (like me) wanted to gain passive points faster I would put passive boosters on my alt characters, and therefore spend AUR faster, AND in turn have to buy more AUR more often..... Its really win win for everyone in my opinion.....
BTW..... YOU ONLY NEED TO READ THE TOP PARAGRAPH TO GET THE POINT (saving those who don't like to read from..... reading).
Ahhh ive read that you still have to put either A LOT of isk into the second character, OR more money into the second character. Still I think the argument is still valid. Sure you might have to pay more on eve, but passive gaining SP in eve is THE ONLY way to get SP. passive gaining in Dust nets you like 20k per day without a booster so yeah...... proportionally im pretty sure we make A LOT less. AND as stated above it seems like a good business model too.....
