yesterday me a friend and a random called in assault dropships,
terrorized the enemy team
and no militia swarms no av grenades **** not even AR's where shot at us,
it seems like people complain that vehicles are OP when they didn't even bother to shoot they're AR
at us,
trust me when i say i was terrorizing the enemy team with my ADS they all started shooting they're AR
at me and they nearly wiped out my shields twice with AR's and AR's alone,
so please anyone who wants a vehicle nerf please,
A - have a valid reason and a solid argument of why you purpose that buff/nerf
B - at least attempted to destroy said vehicle
C - try to look at things from the standpoint of the vehicle user if that buff/nerf where implemented |

I really should try a gunship at some point, they sound fun, IF I had people to man the guns. And probably only if I had the MCRU
onboard to make it functionally useful.
Unfortunately, the dang things are a bad gamble in most pickup games. |

Depends on your definition of "fun" and crashing.
Plan on spending at least a few just to get used to the flight controls and lack of any instrumentation (I practically guarantee the ground will meet you unexpectedly at least the first 2-3 times). |

I shoot at the gunners in dropships and its very satisfying getting that +50 and seeing a body fall out of the dropship.  |

sure thing...
LAVs move too fast, drive over AV nades without them exploding, sponge forge shots at point blank range, doing ZERO damage, and not to mention the fact that way too many people have become Waylon Jennings fans and simply try to paint their windshields in clone goo rather than use the weapon in their hands.
derpships... nothing wrong with em, discuss a buff maybe, definitely not a nerf
tanks... well there are no proto tanks and the enforcers are a joke, the madrugars and gunnlogis are fine, but unfortunately right now that's the best the game has to offer tankers, and I feel for them
o and yes I have AV, I have roughly what 3-4mil SP into AV? something like that so I kinda know what im talkin about
and to all u skilless f!cks running people over, I dare u to hop out of your car and try, just try to kill someone with your gun |

Since when was the paid for dropship OP? The only thing i want a nerf on, is the low tier free LAVs with no skills attached or ISK required.
Have a skill or module or something. Just something! To make nerfing the Free LAVs fair. I don't want LAVs to be reduced to useless vehicles, but the free LAVs should not be able withstand as much AV as they do. |

i have no argument with nerfing the LAV's
the example i used in my post was just saying 3 vehicles murdering there team and
no resistance was given,
i've gone games with 6 HAV's on my team including mine and no resistance was given at all,
the LAV argument has sound reason behind it and would be perfectly fair,
what i purpose on the LAV matter is they swap health with dropships,
remove free LAV's and ad free speeders in they're place, |

I dont want a vehicle nerf, i want swarm buffs (ie more ammo in clip/reserve)
also, armor repair on a vehicle is total BS. that should be what a repair gun is for. |

Mainly, the calls for nerfs to vehicles is to the LAV. And that's MAINLY regarding the militia LAV. It should blow with one AV nade. (yes, even basic ones) |

I dont think anyone wants a vehicle nerf, just an LAV nerf.
HAV scare me potentially. If good HAV drivers worked well with a squad, they would be a terror. Hell I had a game against imps the other day where they drove a rep LAV behind a tank keeping it alive. I died like 3 times with my FGuntil I said screw it and went to kill random infantry.
They had like 3-4 dudes working together and it the vehicles all stayed alive all match. Heavy in an LAV repping the tank and then jumping out to deal with AV units. Dudes in the tank jumping out to rep and deal with AV. Almost killed it once or twice, but it would get away.
Point is I can see combined arms being a pretty nasty force to deal with in the hands of good players. But nobody is calling for a nerf, just resistant to an AV nerf. LAVs however need to change, right now the game is a joke.

The logi lavs are complete tanks. I would like to see them nerfed. Is this a good enough reason? Dropships are fine and tanks needproto versions. |

Dropships and HAV are fine. LAV are way too powerfull at least the militia one. A good driver can run over a skilled player with little effort. I tried it myself and got 3 kills on a default milita LAV on the FIRST try. It moves so fast it-¦s even hard to throw AV grenades, even if you hit it and it-¦s coming at full speed to you the most likely outcome is your dead regardless of your skill. Most map desings having big open areas make this even worst. Also the desing of the LAV offer way too much cover to the driver so actually shooting the guy is hard, not to mention the vehicle doesn-¦t take any damage from most weapons.
The thing I-¦m most afraid in the battlefield is not a HAV, or a Heavy it-¦s a guy on a LAV. |

Why people want vehicle nerfs? The freaking tryhards that are so bad at FPS, but are so afraid of losing, that they just go into cheapo mode and drive LAVs over drop uplinks again and again. Stupid spawn campers. |
