ps4 will be as beastly as any current PC titles require, PCs can/will always be more powerful than consols due to the rapid nature of developement in the hardware area, and the consumers ability to swap out old parts for upgrades as they see fit. So yes, PS4 will be able to play PC game equivilant, but thats cuz even PC games dont always tap into the full potential of some of the beasts out there. |

PS2's recent GU11 has people on the tech support forum complaining about GPU's running much hotter than normal, frame drops of anywhere between 10-30 FPS, and frequent client crashes.

Yeah a PS4 will not be the ultimate gaming PC.
It will be a good PC that is cheaper then its PC counterpart of similar power.
It will also insure player against you will not beat you with a better PC. it will also have far less cheats or mods....and consoles because they are all the same will be easier for game makers to optimize on. So for most games it will run them better then similar speced PCs....also it will have games that the PC does not have. it will also not be over run with all the crap leaky software and viruses and malware PCs are prone to have running in the back ground.
Also, and perhaps the most important, it will not be running Windows 8 on it. |

No matter how amazing the graphic of any games can but what is the point if the game itself suck? For example, it is like CCP pushing to make the graphics so amazing that they skip on everything else. So, you will have a bugged game but with better graphics.
Another example, you buy a cheap laptop that doesn't support any games or is low spec but it looks cool. If you like games because of the graphics rather then gameplay then you should feel bad about it. |
