Seems way to common. My clone is not to be so used!
I declare
An ethical argument against the reproductive cloning of you sort!
There is an overwhelming consensus nearly worldwide, and particularly in Europe and the USA, that cloning is unethical and should be prohibited by criminal law.
Cloning turns every thinking being into something of a moral philosopher.
Life is simple, its just not easy ...........but cloning is a reducer of genetic diversity.
On March 8, 2005, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted adeclaration on human cloning (the Declaration) by a recorded vote of 84 to 34, with 37 abstentions. 1 The Declaration culminated an effort that had commenced in 2001 with a proposal by France and Germany for a convention against reproductive cloning of human beings. The three-and-ahalf-year negotiation that followed was intense and emotionally charged with religious and cultural overtones; at times, participants seemed to feel hopelessly mired. The Declaration that was ultimately adopted was often referred to as a "political declaration," apparently as a way of emphasizing the degree of compromise reflected in the text, and also as a way of minimizing its normative value. The negotiation, which had originally been understood as limited to the narrow bioethics issue of prohibitingthe making of cloned babies, led to profound discussions on human rights, cultural and religious diversities. |

Not sure of your sources, but you seem to be quoting from ancient history from a long lost civilisation locked behind a collapsed wormhole. |

Those ancient laws from a distant galaxy mean little in New Eden. If those primitive beings do not approve of our use of cloning technology, then perhaps they should try to come stop us from using it! I would be surprised if they were to kill on clone of me with such inferior technology, much less if they actually made it to New Eden in the first place with their so call "shuttles" that do not even have weapons or shields. |

The first and perhaps most important nature of our existence as a soul is our ability (or lack thereof) to survive death. Do we, as living souls, die when our bodies die, or do we live on as souls beyond the evaporation of our clone goo? |
