I haven't fought any proto scouts yet, but generally when some std, or mlt scout comes up to me with a shotgun I peg them 1 time with my SR and BOOM there dead...... lol its like an inverse shotgun. Its absolutely horrible for close range, but medium to long range its a pretty beefy gun! |

Don't even get me started using proto scout and iff that thing aims at me I may as well take out my flaylock and off myself |

Yeah, I felt bad for this scout that was running around with nova knifes. I had some awesome charged shots on him as he sprinted around like a mad man. Hit detection makes it inconsistant sometimes, but man it feels good to one shot scouts.
But tbh, the better weapon against shotgun or knifes is the scrambler pistol. Most times they are spritning, which means their movement is somewhat predictable. One head shot with the pistol will down all scouts, 2 will tkae out most any suit that isnt a heavy. Back up and spam the pistol at their head, its the best. Even better is not spamming, and firing that one single shot that drops them, it sounds so pretty. |
