From a role-playing perspective, I see a sentinel class as being defensive. What I don't understand is why the suit bonus is to prevent feedback damage. If that particular bonus was the Amarr sentinel bonus, I could see that fitting in very well. But I like to roll full Winmatar gear (even though there is only one heavy racial variant for now). I understand that not all weapons are released, but I just can't grasp how less feedback damage would apply to anything other than Amarr weapons.
Now I propose giving the sentinel class bonus being a 2% damage resistance. As I said, it should be a defensive class. The new commando class is more of a jack of all trades, other heavy variants might be pure offense... What I mean is that sentinels are supposed to watch over and defend people (occasionally I put myself in between my ally and the enemy LOS, assuming the blue isn't shootings so that I don't block shots, and damage resistance would help this role). |

I dont understand what you are trying to say. Heavies are supposed to be defensive thus...OH! wait are you saying all sentinels should get the damage resist as a suit bonus and racial bonus should be something else? yes i agree. the faster reload to hmg isnt that necessary. Perhaps amarr sentinel bonus could be range?
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
did i just say that? lol |

Im seriously thinking Amarr heavy weapon is going to have feedback damage while firing, gonna be some sort of giant OP laser cannon that applies continously growing feedback damage to user while its firing, and once that is released.. the Amarr suit bonus will make more sense. |

But the feedback damage bonus is not the amarr sentinel bonus, it-¦s the general sentinel bonus! That-¦s the same with gallente and amarr assaults getting a bonus to shield recharge rate. |

That useless skill is a big part of the reason why I quit playing heavy.
they've been getting no new weapons, constant nerfs and they don't even get a useful racial bonus.

I'm waiting to spec into them. I would understand if the bonus were Amarr only, but I don't think the Winmatar heavy will need less feedback damage. And I don't think the Winmatar HMG causes damages, I never manage to allow it to overheat anyway. |

This change needs to happen...unless they are coming out with weapons with feedback damage, this bonus is useless. |

with the boundless hmg, you can fire around 375 rounds before it overheats...pretty much the entire drum. |
