Why is there no proto bpo's? I'm tired of getting crushed just because I don't have time to sit around my house evryday and farm sp. I work on the road for weeks at a time and every time I come home and turn on the game I am less competitive. At this point I can barely kill anyone and I'm pretty sure my drop suit is made out of a trash bag and some styrofoam cups. It costs one milliondy gilliondy sp to go proto and at this rate it will take me 3 years to have a competive rig. |

Even if there were proto BPOs.. they would still require level 5 to use them... im not sure I understand what you're going for here.
If you want proto gear with less skill, look at the 'neo' suits and the operation 3 aurum proto gear... I think thats what you're looking for. |

100 Aurum per proto suit. Die 10 times and lose a dollar >_> Or is it 20 times? I do not remember. |

Hypothetical prototype BPOs would still require a massive SP investment, meaning they would still be out of your reach. Meanwhile, the guys who are currently running Proto gear wouldn't have to worry about their wallets anymore and you'd be getting crushed harder and more often. |

Proto BPOs would be a nightmare. Don't get me wrong I would love one as would quite a few vets but I doubt it would be fun for anyone who hasn't reached proto level including core skills. |

The skill less jack hole standing out in the open with his proto gear decimating teams. I'm pretty sure if I had proto I could kill him. I did pretty well in the beta. |

You're quite an angry guy arent you. You'd fare no better in any other progression based game then, you dont have the time to invest it seems.

You are speaking of the SP gap.
CCP's plan is to implement a matchmaking system so you will no longer have to fight people in Uber gear.
Use your own judgement whether it will work or not. |

No I'm not angry. I still like the game even. I just get tired of getting killed by players who would appear to have far less skill than I. I'm not great or anything but I usually have around 1.5 or 2 /1 kd while playing still playing support roles. I even had one in this game at one time till everybody got all proto on me. I don't even care that much about my kd honestly but this game is starting to give me too many "No freaking way that dude turned around and killed me" moments. And why does my team always suck so bad now? I was at the top of the leaderboard in a match with 425 wp. I went 1 and 4. How did that even happen? How were they worse than me? |

Never going to happen. Adding proto-level BPOs has a negative downside.
The economy.
CCP has a 5-year plan that includes implementing a player-controlled secondary market exactly like that of the Eve Online secondary market in which players will buy/sell anything that they produced out of their own hard work. BPOs for proto-level equipment will undermine that effort and potentially harm the economy by taking away any incentive to purchase more gear which is what manufacturers like the Eve Online players rely on for sustained profit. Which brings me to my next point.
CCP hinted or implied that they plan on letting Eve Online players do the manufacturing of the Dust gear while possibly letting Dust players gather the needed resources for production. Implementing a BPO for prototype items will undermine that effort for the same reason I mentioned above (taking away the incentive to purchase more gear) and as a result the operation of producing such gear will collapse because the demand diminishes as more players stock up on proto-level BPOs.
The same can be said for advanced-level and standard-level BPOs. This is why you only see militia-level BPOs. |

I guess I'll log back in in a couple months and upgrade my repair tool or something. Maybe by the time ps4 comes out I can have me one of them there fancy nanite injectors and be an actual asset to my team. |

@Balzich
I suggest holding off on spending your SP on the nanite injectors until CCP fixes them. Right now they only work half of the time. I wouldn't want you to go wasting your SP on something that won't help. Consider yourself warned. |

Proto bpos would make proto stomping worse, not better. I have a feeling you don't know the proper terminology to use. At best, you can use Autumn variant gear to use proto lvl gear with ADV lvl sp. |
