As much as I like this game, throwing a F2P game in with a console does seem a bit... unneeded. Granted, the advertising would've been nice, but... A free year of a paid membership does sound better than preinstalled F2P. |

i haven't seen a single ad for dust in that scrolly thingy on the top right of the menu since uprising, nor a single video about dust on sony's e3 playlist. |

My guess is you probably used to get aurum or something with the bundle. Why they would decide to do that is debatable. |

Honestly, this actually makes a lot of sense, and actually Sir Petersen this is Sony showing a lack of support for Dust, the reason being is that prior to this change Sony saw Dust as a profitable piece, otherwise they wouldn't have put it into their PS4 bundle. However, with the continuing decline in players (at this very point there are only 4,712 players on, I know what you are going to say this isn't primetime, people are still at work. However, this time last month Dust had over 6,000 players at this time and would rise to over 7,000 players during the the prime gaming time), the horrible gameplay, lack of communication and over-all negativity in regards to Dust, Sony had no choice but cut it out (quite like a cancerous tumor).
It's just sad because this is just another indication of how far Dust has fallen and this will only further solidify the negative reviews in potentially new players. I don't know what CCP is thinking and it confuses me as to why they are letting their own game die. |

The bundle is now WAY better value. A year of PS+=45 games to play, including 6 month old titles. It's more just giving the customer a better value proposition than Sony having something against DUST 514 or CCP. |

Actually the move is more Sony pushing PSN+, since its required for Multiplayer on PS4, and carries over from PS3, so it makes sense for them to get 1 year memberships out to as many people as they can to entice them to PS4. |

Yes, but they could have easily kept Dust in their bundle as well as PSN+ as it would give incentive to players to truly try Dust for free as they wouldn't have to pay for multiplayer connection as well as potentially receiving aurum. |

seems reasonable to believe. so why not, it cost money potential for Sony to switch over to year of PS plus over a free game and the only reason why they would is because they do not believe that it will as much return to them and will gather more buyers right before the new console for those who will wait for price to drop on that shiny new box(console here if your lost). makes sound sense in marketing +1 to Sony's marketing team for going bold with reason behind it.
btw the content in the bundle(old) is only from/in that bundle and can not be bought anywhere else. |

Bleating about stuff on the forum doesn't actually help.
Constructive feedback however does.
On the other hand CCP arn't doing themselves any favours, eve gets about 500% more dev interaction that Dust does. |

well the game is F2P anyway, and it's not in beta anymore anyway so it is pointless giving people a bundle that includes a game anyone who has a PS3 can get.
That and DUST just is a very bad game. |

Devs have to deal with the fact that there has been substandard development work on DUST 514.
A lot of rewriting the same things again and again. A lot of "no can't do that" with no explanation. Complete lack of roadmap and reasonable updates.
Now perhaps they are severely understaffed. Perhaps management is kaboshing any sign of enthusiasm since "they know best". Maybe, the few who do talk to us are seeking relief from the same problems we complain about? But I wouldn't ask them to risk their jobs by not taking utmost pride in their own company publicly.
Both the community and the vocal devs should view each other with a grain of salt. The intended audiences of certain statements might be among the non-present. |

Not unusual, and a 1 year PSN Plus membership is alot better anyway. But it does feels like one HUGE middle finger to CCP, that and the news about PS2 in the PS4 in E3, in which they decided to completely ignore Dust 514. |

yeh this was a **** move on sonys part, im trying to stay intrested in dust514 but even after two days my bro has dropped it and everyone i know is playing last of us. the only thing keeping me here is the fact a lot of people in my corp have put effort in it and i dont want to give them the middle finger and just stop playing |
