So DUST514.org is dead in the water with last update about uprising speculation notes.
DUST 514 Base is written once every two months about CPM sometimes (which is not a bad thing but come on nobody is bothering).
The Mittani is good, but they are not writing only for dust.
DUSTERS - if they were just a tiny bit more professional (and made their site tiny bit prettier perhaps...) they might be okay.
DUST514.info is.. the only one that is doing something? But they often miss things.
There are some blogs that are nice, but we are talking full blown fansites here (like MMO Champion for WoW). So where are other fansites for dust? Do you know/follow any? I need more things to follow and listen to, but I can't find anything high quality around here.

Yeah, without an active non-official community you really are going to struggle to maintain a base to build on.
When the hardcore fans are shutting down sites even before launch I guess it says it all really. |

Well, CCP Frame used to lead DUST 514 Base and make CAST 514 actively.... but yeah. He is CCP Frame now!
And .org is lead by Grideris and Nova Knife I think... and Grideris is barely active as it is in general anywhere. He used to moderate .org forums a lot in closed beta but that's about it. He does talk few things on cast 514 when that goes out every 2 months. |

Yeah, I had a dedicated dust site for a few months. I have since changed the theme to PS2 awaiting release on ps4. |

The single reason for the abandonment of a majority of sites has been a direct link to the staleness of the game.
Boring games dont get publication.
CCP must act fast or the game will shrivle up and die. |

Was also thinking about making dust fansite portal that links news from all these fansites into one thing (from their rss feeds).
