CCP will more than likely impose a heavy-ass tax on all income coming from Eve into Dust during the first phase of implementing the economy.
Once they do that, they should start to open up the market, implement a buy/sell order system similar to Eve Online, allow production of items by the players and start removing the NPC-seeded items so that market forces on both games stabilize on their own. Once that is complete, it is just a matter of waiting for the economies of both games to balance each other out to the point where the value of ISK in one game is close to the same value of ISK in the other game. Once that is complete, they would remove the tax.
Of course, this is just what was mentioned for the 5-year roadmap. |

Thanks, I read about the proposed taxed of 90% , I think that seems fair thou, I can really make a lot of isk in EVE especially if I play PVE with buddies |

they still need a way for us to travel around New Eden to see the various prices so i can travel and buy things cheaper in one area than another and so on
more interested to see how they implement that before the market opens up
also im hoping the isk transfer is not allowed until we have meaning relationship in game
i would like to see it started as a side affect of another item coming in
Corp armoury would be my ideal start, allowing EvE pilots to go around and pickup items and deliver them to the corp armoury, letting EvE pilots use the dust wallet to buy Merc items only |

I would love to send a billion isk to my dust bunny... think it will crash the economy though. Until methods of making money in Dust improve I think this is a bad idea.
You will see all the eve players just dominating. |

right now, people would be very unhappy if there were an eve to dust isk transfer. eve players could attack territory holders every single day without making their money on the dust side. |

You do realize that's part of the POINT of this game, right? You're mercenaries, you're supposed to have an employer.
Capsuleers are the employers.

You're ignoring two things here.
1. CCP said they will impose a tax on the transfers coming from Eve Online.
2. Once the markets open up among other important things, the economy will balance out over the coming years and soon the value of ISK between both games may be indistinguishable which in turn will result in the removal of the tax. |
