I am a logistic sniper in Dust514,I also use the suit for its designed purpose of course.I need help finding out how I can use my pg and cpu effectively and efficiently and use as much of it as possible.I am really in need of some math help pretty much, deciding between the Minmitar logistic proto and the caldari proto. The Minmitar has 4 high slots and the Caldari has 5 high slots.I need to use these slots for damage modifiers.I don't know if anyone is going to take the time to do all the calculating for me so..basically I am using a charged sniper rifle and assuming I get the caldari proto,5 complex light damage modifiers.I am also using a templar drop uplink and the standard nanohive.I was wondering, using all the skills that reduce CP/PG requirements and increase it,if I would be able to fit these 5 damage modifiers onto the suit along with the rifle and equipment without overusing the cp/pg.Thanks for whoever taked the time to go through this. |

Well, I don't know much about sniping, but here's a good guide for it.
The Role of the Sniper
As for the cpu/pg, you should try out hydraSlav's Dust 514 Fitting Tool.
And check out my guide compilation for any other relevant guides. |

Fitting 5 complex damage mods is a bit wasteful, there are stacking penalties on that sort of mod. |

OMG, this. People, if you want others to read your walls of text, help them out.
Anyway, when doing fittings remember to account for stacking penalties. Any item past the third is pretty useless because of diminished returns. Lately I have run the Caldari proto and I really enjoy it. I use:
High slots 3 Complex light damage modifiers 2 Complex shield extenders (these help survive the first hit of a counter-sniper)
Low slots 2 Basic armor plates (also helps survive counter-snipers) 1 Basic CPU upgrade 1 Militia cardiac regulator (balances out the speed penalties from the armor)
Equipment 3 Compact nano hives ( I prefer these because they run out of ammo sooner, thus getting rid of that conspicuous blue bubble)
Weapon Charge rifle, though this is a matter of personal choice.

Edit: Still, you give valid feedback that the OP should pay attention to.

I'll take you seriously for a moment and just say that proper spacing is far more critical to comprehension than consistent capitalization, particularly when one is only posting a single sentence. |
