She seems to have disappeared, and it seems that most communication between CCP and us has... disappeared. E3 came and went, and CCP has been really quiet. Whats going on?

CCP are playing it way to cautiously. I would also argue that features and gameplay arn't mutually exclusive. All they have really added is variations of the same 16v16 game mode. So no matter what you do, the sameiness of the battles leads to burn out. And I think thats the problem. I think people are generally quiet dissappointed in the pace of development and the lack of things to do in game. Customer satisfaction is at an all time low because, instead of ramping up development, they seem to became even more cautious and giving the players less. This is all apparently and from my point of view. For all we know CCP could be working really hard to beat technically difficulties they havn't reported. CCP has an entire office dedicated to enginnering, i doubt they get payed to play wii sports and drink pina colada. For all we know social spaces, PVE gameplay beyond our expectations, boarding actions, and other planets could be just around the corner. This new competative environment could mean they will play thier hands closer to thier chest.

Do they keep developing content on the current engine/console, and hope for the best? Probably ending up with 800-1000 Dedicated players on Tranquility on a Sat evening most of which are Hardcore CCP "fans" from EVE looking for a nice distracting mini game. Or start again from scratch with a better engine, and a better way to attract more player's?
