OK, first off what's AF?

I'm guessing you mean that you are using the assault rifle?

To get more war points, you can do many things:

Get a kill: 50 WP
Hack a node: 100 WP
Res a teammate: 60 WP
Provide supplies to a teammate: 10WP
Heal a teammate: 25 WP
Hack vehicles/CRUs/etc : 50 WP I think

Assisting with hacks usually nets you half the WP I believe

I believe that's all of the different things that give WP, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

So, those guys that are getting lots of WP are doing many of these things. Dust isn't just about getting kills.

The biggest things you can do to get more WP is contribute to the battle by doing more than just shooting at the bad guys. Stay with your squad and stay in a group. If you're playing ambush (you should branch out Lol

), but consider some of the other things you can do even without being able to hack objectives.

licio br Enclave Training Ground 0	Posted - 2013.06.17 16:53:00 - [1] - Quote so i noticed that i am playing worse then when i first started. i used to be ~top 5 now i am on the bottom 5 very often. i am getting about 300 wp per match. i am wondering if there's any general tips that can help me improve my wp count. i see the top guys with 2-3k wp per match and i have no idea how they do that. thanks

Playing in a squad makes everything -at least- a billion times easier. Are you in a corp? Join a corp. Lots of people willing to work with you and train you. Lots of spamy noob corps in Local. You also get WP for destroying unhacked or enemy turrets, CRU's, Supply Depots, and vehicle kills. I am still learning, but found this out the other day. Took my WP from about 300 per game to close to 1000 per game.

You get additional points for assists and kills if people in your squad are shooting the same target. Same for uplink spawns, resupplies, and healing i think. Speaking of which, put down uplinks and nanohives in good locations. That gets you a good amount of points, in addition to potentially swaying the battle in your favor.
