Look. I'm a fan. I'm not going to stop playing. ... until Destiny is released.
... But come on CCP.
The player base has steadily waned from its peak of 7k players at the time of its official 'release' back in may.
Right now, it's a miracle if there's more than 4k on. And nearly all of them are vets, just doing the weekly grind.
There is absolutely no incentive to play. Absolutely no reason for anyone to start playing.
And it's been painfully evident this week.
Every game I see vets rail-gun sniping, or using a thale's from the red-line, as that seems to be the only surefire way to rack up kills without dying.
This **** needs to go. Punish these assholes that do nothing to help the team.
(Maybe add a minute maximum to the time you can spend in your team's redline?)
More than that, this game has been broken for so long, that I now see scrubs exploiting things that vets have known about for months.
Specifically, placing drop upinks in areas where they can't be shot.
Good luck holding objectives when indestructible uplinks are everywhere.
And god dammit, since i'm on the topic of whining about objectives...
It makes absolutely no sense that the team can continue to spawn on an objective point as it is being hacked.
This issue has become exacerbated this week as it appears there's only a handful of people actually playing in any given match. God help you if you happen to be the poor soul trying to hack objectives.
Also, It's absolutely infuriating to be stuck in matches where I'm constantly getting the message:
"Vehicle Request Denied: Team Vehicle Quota has been reached",
because everyone is railgun sniping or murder-taxing.
It leaves the entire team unable to traverse to objectives without walking right out in the open with a giant target taped to their backs.
Something has to be done.
Or maybe nothing can be done. Maybe this game is just a good idea, gone terribly wrong.
And PC battles will be the only viable mode of gameplay where people are actually TRYING to win in a cooperative manner.
ALSO. THE **** CCP? EVERY 4 GAMES MY GAME FREEZES ON LOAD, WITH THE SPINNY SYMBOL JUST CONTINUING TO SPIN. WHAT IS THIS, THE BETA? FOR ****'S SAKE.
