Should CCP use their own engine for DUST 514 when it moves to other platforms beyond PS 3?

Better to move to Unreal Engine 4. Think about it this way. If its Unreal Engine 4, they can easily port all of their work without a problem. If its CARBON based, they will have to probably rework each model.
That's what they had to do moving from CARBON to Unreal Engine 3. |

Select/Create the engine that gives them the greatest ability to place the game on different platforms with the most ease and without the need to massively alter them each time. |

Carbon is not fully fleshed out engine and is by all understanding still rather bare bones. I doubt Carbon would be the right choice at the moment to test Dust 514 on. If they were in a position to do so, they would have done it at the beginning...but this is CCP we're talking about here...who nows, they may actually have a very basic version of the Carbon engine running on a test server out there already...being tweaked for the right platform :D |

As for Unreal 3 to 4? I'm not sure that's how it works...
Still, it would likely be easier...if not far more expensive in every way though... 8/ |

They could use the tools WoD team created. It seems that they are constantly improving the Engine and creating tools to go along with it. |

Even then mate they messed up with Unreal 3 as they could of used the vast library and knowledge that is out there to make things 100% better.
Think they should use a 1930's ford engine next they may be able to get that to work smooth |

People complain that there's little to no EVE involvement with Dust right now, the Carbon framework came from EVE. Put two and two together... |
