What I mean by this is that there is a great deal of information not being provided to the players in regards to general stats.
Shield/Armor efficiency ratings on weapons.
Weapon ranges.
Headshot efficiency ratings.
Damage ratios on Grenades.
Just to name a few. These stats aren't provided in the Show Info tabs and greatly affect the retention of usability in the initial stages. Without understanding the basics of how the weapon performs, were left to base our judgement on their effectiveness through battlefield testing and trial and error.
Beyond that, many weapons lack MILITIA variants, forcing players to use SP to use the standard variants or spend Aurum on them, solely for the sake experimenting with the weapons. Beyond this, more SP is often required for different variants of the same weapon, Assault Scrambler Rifles being notorious for this as to use them requires extensive SP expenditure before even trying them out.
Sorry for any weird words or typos, on a tablet until my PC is fixed. |

We've already spoken with CCP about this issue extensively and they're indeed working on adding this information to items in-game. No confirmation that it'll be in the next update yet, but it deserves to be. This is bread-and-butter stuff and we won't stop till its done. |

Many thanks. I feel this would also convey for easier weapon balancing than without. |

Flaylock needs to show rof. Do the cpms know the rate of fire on them? How are we supposed to objectively analyze? |

I was going to ask about this myself. I've already raised it as an issue to members of the Dev team myself.
We're now a 'live' game and to have no information as to weapon ranges, Scanners range and details of stacking penalties for modules is a major omission and increasing player confusion.
It would also be helpful for our instructors when it comes to comes to lesson and lecture creation to have accurate figures to base them on.
